Chapter 17: Instruction

Bella was predictably silent for the rest of the night. Alice confirmed that she knew everything, and had been there for the conversation with the wolves. I knew she was Lost in her thoughts, and I didn’t want to push her to talk before she was ready. Although I was anxious as to what her reaction was going to be.

We had come up with a plan of sorts in the meantime. We would get the newborns to perpecahan, berpecah up, making it even easier on ourselves to take care of them. The finer details...

“You’re really not that good of a mechanic, Edward. Maybe anda should have Rosalie look at it tonight, just so anda look good if Mike decides to let anda help, anda know. Not that it wouldn’t be fun to watch his face if Rosalie showed up to help. But since Rosalie is supposed to be across the country attending college, I guess that’s not the best idea. Too bad. When I arrived at Charlie’s, Bella was asking permission to go to La Push. Charlie’s thoughts were ecstatic that she was finally going to be talk to Jake. He didn’t care that it was the middle of the night. Quicker than a human eye could detect, I opened the hud, hood of Bella’s truck, and quickly incapacitated it. I hopped in the passenger’s kerusi, tempat duduk and waited in the dark. It was cloudy tonight. Too cloudy for even the moon to shine through. I was rather annoyed that Bella would go behind my back to see Jacob, but I did warn her that I would stop her if she tried. Apparently she hadn’t...

The seterusnya morning was much lebih relaxed. It was Monday, and Bella and I were driving to school. We were both in good spirits until a block away from the parking lot. That’s when I picked up on his scent. A werewolf was waiting in the Forks High School parking lot, and I had a pretty good idea about who it would be. I scanned the parking lot for thoughts, and found Jacob’s face in some of the students minds whom had passed him by. This would not be good.

“If I asked anda to do something, would anda trust me?” I asked Bella.

Enough Bella, I’m not going to write notes anymore like a bunch of saat graders. Your living the life anda want to and now anda have to deal with the consequences. I can’t handle this anymore.
