I like them both but I guess Solitude. I joined the legion there.

Whiterun, easier to navigate, plus its a very quaint place!

Whiterun.... ONLY because the house anda can buy is called Breezehome and my nickname is Bre.... so it sounds like Bre's utama :P Goofy, I know...

I Cinta Solitude it has istana, castle dour the HQ of the imperial legion , the blue palace , the High king , the Bards collage , the natural arch , the wonderful view and plenty lebih !

I prefer Whiterun personally.

Solitude, Witherun is good but Solitude has better stuff, lebih treasure, better houses, and the guards in Solitude let anda in without going to jail atau getting in a fight.

Solitude is the kerusi, tempat duduk of the Imperial Legion in Skyrim and generally has really nice buildings + a good layout. But the aesthetical beauty and atmosphere of Whiterun is insurmountable. Also my favourite place to sell dungeon loot after the Thieves Guild fences, due to the many merchants within a small area (Warmaidens has 2000 emas each for Adrianne and her daddy, Belethor with another 2000, Arcadia's Cauldron, etc).
