They could make it sooo much better, and hopefully get the stroyline correct.

They skipped most of the book, killed off main characters, made characters die how they arent suppost to... Changed scenes... Basically the only thing they got right was the names. The people who made LOTR would have made the movie great.

They didnt include dwarfs, the elves looked wrong,left out main charecters, and put in certain events that didnt need be till the next installment.

You forgot completely about the Urgals, who they made brute humans with red eyes. Urgals are supposed to be some ugly ass creatures with horns.

I loved it, but then again I haven't read the books. I just want to see the next book made into a movie. I love the Harry Potter books and am dissapointed with some of the movies because too much is left out and some of the way things happen in the books are changed in the movies, but I still want to see the movies. So I am looking forward to the next book to be made into a movie.

1.They missed the DWARVES (idiots!!)
2.Arya was supposed to have black hair,green eyes , and pointed ears!
3.Brom's death was WRONG!
4.Roran did not leave Carvahall like that
5.They missed out Katrina, Jeod, Solembum, The Twins, Elva, and many more........
6.Murtagh did not want to go to the Varden
7.They missed out many other "small" details which really matter in Eldest

The film was just an absolute fail...
It's like they didn't even read the book... they just read the blurb and then made it up
The film was so depressing as it is on of my favourite series of books, and they did absolutely nothing right.

i liked the movie cause i watched it before i read the books but when i read the books i was like 'the movie's completely wrong'. but if they make a remake they should keep a few actors like eragon and brom(jeremy irons-gotta love him), and rachel weisz as saphira

At first, I liked the movie.. sort of. When I read the books again - it was a while I did that - I thought.. man, they screwed up the whole movie! I still do, they can do much better.. when they try to follow the story-lines from the books. Look at LOTR, those movies are amazing!

The people who made the movie completely destroyed the book!! I mean, Brom doesn't get killed by Durza and they didn't even have Arya riding Saphira!! Saphira doesn't tell Eragon what her name is, Eragon chooses it for her!! Plus they didn't even have Katrina and the movie and shes pretty important!! The movie was a complete let down!! RE-MAKE THE MOVIE NOW!!!!

When i become a millionaire one of the first things i'll do is remake Eragon with only the book as a script.

It failed pretty badly... I don't think there's anything else to say that anyone else hasn't already said.
