That sounds a lot like the opening scene of "Pet Cemetery" from season 5. Ray is looking for Ally's hamster in the couch and Robert comes in. Ray frantically tells him to shut the door, and Robert says" You're freaking me out, man!" I'm not sure if this is the episode you're talking about though. I hope this helps anyway :)
