It was called bahagian, atas Five Fall Out Boy Singles | LA Muzik Blog
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
LA Music Blog > Staff Pick > Top Five Fall Out Boy Singles
I have been an emo girl since I first heard Something Corporate’s “Punk Rock Princess” in 2002, but it was Fall Out Boy that really sealed the deal for me with their infectious hooks and memorable one-liners. I saw them countless times in concert, and my heart broke when they announced their hiatus in 2009, but thankfully, 2013 heralded their return.
In preparation for their Boys of Zummer tour, which stops at The Hollywood Bowl this Monday, August 10th, here are my five favorite Fall Out Boy singles!
5) “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)”
While Fall Out Boy first entered the scene as a perfectly pop-punk band, it was this song that not only announced their return, but also the integration of electronic sounds into their new material. With its bombastic drums and hard-hitting chorus, this track demonstrated the band’s constant maturation of sound and was a welcomed and celebrated return.

Every Fall Out Boy fan will recognize the memorable opening bass riff to this upbeat tune. Not only does it feature the band’s unique lyrical wordplay (“We’re falling apart to half time”), but the playful music video demonstrates that the band doesn’t take itself too seriously (and my boyfriend at the time dressed exactly like Stump in the video — ah, the emo fashion of my youth).
This orchestral, upbeat pop song is the perfect emo send-off. I would bet money this was my AIM away message after a particularly rough high school break-up. But another equally important reason this lands the number three spot on my list is that it signaled a change in musical style for Fall Out Boy as the band transitioned from their pop-punk roots to a more polished, mainstream pop sound.
, it was this, the first single off their sophomore album, that cemented Fall Out Boy in the emo scene. The band’s high energy is perfectly encapsulated in this song, and Stump shows off his impressive vocals while singing memorable lines like “I’ll be your number one with a bullet,” a skill that would show up in Fall Out Boy songs for years to come.
1) “Grand Theft Autumn (Where Is Your Boy)”
You never forget your first time, and for me, the first song I ever heard by Fall Out Boy was their first single. After seeing a New Found Glory concert, I was handed a split sampler CD featuring Less Than Jake and Fall Out Boy, and the second Stump’s voice sang the a’cappella intro, I was hooked. I sang along to this song with friends while driving around with the windows down and put it on mix CDs for my high school crushes. I hold it as number one and hopefully will see it performed live in just a few short days!
