What does it mean when a man walks in and throws a vase with Bunga against the dinding in slow motion, on one of the episodes?

So we find out how Joe Swanson meats Bonnie at a strip club. Toto's Africa is playing in the background and all of a sudden, a guy dressed in a white suit and a fedora walks in, holding a Crystle vase with Bunga and water in it. Then he smashes the vase against the wall, but does it in slow motion! What is that in reference to?
