My first dislike is when a peminat fiction is badly written. I can overlook the occasional mistake, but when a work is filled with errors in spelling, grammar atau punctuation, this spoils the story. I don't want to have to struggle to understand what's actually written. It looks unprofessional, pulls me out of what I'm Membaca and ruins the illusion that the peminat fiction could be an addition to atau alternate version of the canon story. I understand that some people might not be Penulisan in their first language, atau they could be dyslexic atau just poor at English, but in such cases they could use a beta...

1. A Mary Sue is described as being overly perfect. Every feature of her appearance is beautiful, and nothing about her is unappealing atau even plain. Sometimes she considers herself to be ordinary atau plain, but the other characters' opinions of her disagree with this.

2. Her physical appearance is often described in far lebih detail than any of the other characters. Sometimes an entire paragraph, atau even multiple paragraphs, is used to describe her.
