SelinaKyle Well, there isn't anything wrong with being fat or a lesbian or what some people might consider unattractive. No one would expect any other human rights activist to prove that they are skinny and attractive and straight to be credible, would they? We are all the face of feminism, skinny, fat, straight, lesbian, black, white, latino, and everything else. I think a lot of women fall into the trap of trying to prove the chauvies wrong about what a feminist should look like, but don't buy into it! It's just a (very insulting) way to put down women and dismiss an important human rights movement by saying their voices are not important unless they are beautiful and slim and straight.
