Louie, the llama, stopped the collaboration between Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson's llama wrecked Freddie Mercury's dreams of recording a hit duet with the King of Pop - because the Queen bintang didn't like working in a studio with an overgrown pet.

The tragic Bohemian Rhapsody singer made a friend of Jackson in the early 1980s and the two superstars plotted to work together, but things hit a snag when the Thriller hitmaker insisted on menunjukkan up to work with his llama.

In a new Dvd expose of Mercury's solo career, the late star's manager Jim 'Miami' pantai says, "They got on well except for the fact that I suddenly got a call from Freddie, saying, 'Miami, dear, can anda get on over here... You've got to get me out of here. I'm recording with a llama... I've had enough and I want to get out."

And it seems Mercury lived to regret walking away from the project - in a Lost interview recovered for the new Dvd, Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender, he says, "I think one of the tracks would have been on the Thriller album if I had finished it, but I missed out."

The expose features a snippet of a demo Jackson and Mercury recorded for a song titled There Must Be lebih To Life.

Director Rhys Thomas' Mercury movie also features new interviews with the singer's Queen bandmates Brian May and Roger Taylor, Spanish diva Montserrat Caballe, who teamed up with the rock bintang for an operatic album, and Friends and associates of the late Another One Bites the Dust hitmaker, as well as rare footage of Mercury performing with the Royal Ballet and Lost Tv chats.

DramaQueen1020 Wow, I have never heard of a case like this. I don't know whether to be sad at the songs not on the album, or amused at Freddie being such a diva with the llama. I don't blame him exactly, I wouldn't want to record music with a llama. "I'm recording with a llama and I want to get out." Haha! Anyway, Michael looks really sweet with the llama! I didn't know he even had a llama!

liberiangirl_mj I'm sad and amused.. both lol :)) Sad because it would have been a great duet and amused because of the situation :)) You should see his face when he's saying: "but I missed out!!" he's funny.. but I know that he always regreted not finishing them. :(

Vespera I don't know what's true and not, but I've heard a very different explanation than the one from Freddie's manager: MJ gave up working with Freddie because of his extensive cocaine abuse.

liberiangirl_mj @ Vespera: That's been said by Freddie's manager in the last documentary about him (Freddie M.) I've read Peter Freestone's book too - Peter was the only person with Michael and Freddie in MJ's studio from Encino - and there he said another version ( that Michael and Freddie recorded only 1 day, they worked together only at "Victory", the others being already written by them before; State Of Shock by MJ and There Must Be More To Life Than This by F.M.) ... his manager said another version.. this one with the llama.. It may be because of Freddie using cocaine too.. the truth is that they never spoke about it.
