I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Sure, Sean kacang would play Ned Stark again
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
TV’s Ned Stark has been dead for four seasons now, to say nothing of how long literature’s Ned Stark has been gone. Still, Sean Bean made an impression on fans when he played the character on
Season 1, and some still hope that he’ll return to the role.
“There’s been talk of Ned Stark coming back,” Bean said during
a recent interview with Larry King on Ora TV. “But I don’t know how he could come back, maybe as a zombie.”
What about a prequel? “Flashbacks, yeah. Have a shave, make myself look a bit younger.”
Obviously, Bean is speculating here, but HBO President Michael Lombardo
prequel series. If we eventually see Robert’s Rebellion depicted onscreen (big or small), there’s an opportunity for Sean Bean to come back, since Ned Stark figures heavily into that story.
On the other hand, Ned was quite a bit younger during Robert’s Rebellion than he was during
Season 1, and we’re not sure a shave would make the 56-year-old actor look young enough to pull it off. However, why not cast him as Rickard Stark, Ned’s father? Just throwing ideas out there, HBO.
Check out the full interview with Larry King, in which Bean touches on other areas of his career, below. And then, watch out for SPOILERS.
Just because Sean Bean probably won’t be seen again on
doesn’t mean that Ned Stark won’t. By our count, he’ll make at least two appearances in Season 6. A 13-year-old actor named Sebastian Croft is heavily rumored to be playing a very young Ned Stark. If
is any indication, Bran will use his newfound powers to peer into the past and see his young father practicing with a wooden sword in Winterfell.
Later, we’ll see a slightly older Ned Stark in battle at the Tower of Joy, likely played by Eddie Eyre. Odds are that we’ll see this scene through Bran’s eyes, as well.
Will Sean Bean ever play Ned Stark again? Seems unlikely, but the character is about to have a big year.
When it comes to actors who have ridden the popularity of Game of Thrones to increased...
Charles Dance is a full season removed from his final moments on Game of Thrones. If you remember...
Have you already read all the books and/or don\'t care about spoilers? You can reveal all the spoilers in the comments with the click of a link below.
I still hope so… he was so great as Ned. A flashback or a dream… maybe next season. Khal Drogo came back, so … I heard somewhere Vyseris was making an appearance this season … maybe I heard wrong, because it doesn’t have sense at this point.
I hate to say it, because I’m a huge Bean fan, but playing himself 14 years younger (they already pushed it putting a 50 something into a 30 something role, but it worked well), they’d have to put his head from LOTR on his body with CGI. Nothing wrong with looking 56, but he looks 56.
Ned was a big believer in the old gods. In the books when Catelyn was concerned about Ned she would find him in the godswood where he would go to think. So it’s entirely possible that Ned went there to help him decide about Roberts offer or when guilt in regards to his “lie he has lived with for fifteen years” gets the better of him.
Sean Bean would make an excellent Richard Stark.. But idk if I could bear watching him die yet again
Well, I’m hoping they’ll find a way to really bring him back, maybe a good, solid flashback. To me, Ned was always the moral compass in this immoral world. This was true in the books and even truer in the show, where Bean brought a layer of geniality and affection to temper the rectitude of book-Ned. I’d like a flash of the comfort the first few episodes gave me that good and right and justice might eventually prevail, even if it’s just a flash(back).
Sean Bean was a excellent Ned Stark and i do miss him every season. I would love for him to return to the main series. Maybe in a vision or a flashback from Bran. Given the size of the World of Game of Thrones we might get an spin-off with him or where he shows up. There are many possibilities!
