This artikel really started off as a forum topic, but then became too long to be one, so I decided to just write it as a soapbox. It is mainly about Rory's last Cinta interest: Logan Huntzberger. I know, as I write this, that most people will disagree with me but I still want to give my opinion on Logan.

I know that many people did not like Logan and especially didn't like him with Rory.. I have to completely disagree because I LOVED Logan..

Most people liked the Rory/Jess relationship and I did too, they were very cute together but I think Logan was a better boyfriend to Rory. I know, I know nobody agrees!

But let's go back to the show:
Jess and Logan were actually really similar, I think the one big difference was their social class status, but other than that they could both be considered the "bad boys".

Rory was in Cinta with both of them, at different times of course. There is no way to deny this because it was apparent that she had fallen for Logan hard, even after Jess came to visit her she confessed that she liked Logan.

Many people say that Logan did not treat Rory well atau that he was a bad influence, but this is pretty debatable.

Jess also had LOTS of moments in which he did not treat Rory as she deserved (not calling her back when he berkata he would, but most important leaving her without even saying a word)
True, Jess had a lot of great moments and I Cinta him for that, but he also had bad ones and that's why I cannot understand those who don't like Logan

I see Logan as a similar person to Jess, but the difference is that Logan changes in time. He is in Cinta with her and he changes his whole personality to be with her. It was hard for him (that's why he "broke up with her" and slept with other girls) but the important thing is that he came back... he was truly sorry and at the end he is completely prepared to commit entirely to their relationship.

The whole point of this artikel is mainly to address the Logan/Rory relationship that so many people seem to disaprove of.

I loved Rory with Jess but I see them lebih as a "good memory", a GREAT teenage couple that ended because they were not on the same page. Logan, on the other hand, might not have been in the same page at the beginning, but is willing to change and he accomplishes this. Even Lorelai ends up approving! He changes and this is what could have made him lebih than just "a good memory"

I am really sad that Rory turned down his marriage proposal, but at the same time it was too soon. I did not think they should have broken up though, and in my mind they'll end up together :D

And They Lived Happily Ever After... (in my mind!)

neeki I totally agree with you! I'm a huge Logan lover too :) He really did change for her and was willing to spend the rest of his life with her. I don't understand all the Logan haters out there. And, to get superficial for a moment, he was really, really hot lol.

bethbeach008 i agree with you in EVERY way. i have fought Jess-lovers for ages because they refuse to believe that he and Logan are in anyway alike.

ButtaflyyKisses I agree too. I have always been a Logan Rory shipper. I hated Dean expecially the 2nd time around, but i think that out of all her bfs logan was the hottest lol

solsis I agree! although I love Jess i think that there were times when he treated Rory really bad. He wouldnt call her back (like you said) would not go with her to parties she liked (and when he did go he was in a really bad mood the whole time), wasnt very nice to her mom or her grandma, made her miss her own prom, left without saying anything... I really liked rory and jess but I think, like you said, after a while it was just something of the past... Logan was really sweet to Rory, and he was willing to change for her!

Dragonfly0879 I agree that Jess and Logan are similar in many ways but that doesn't make Logan the better choice. That's like picking chicken pox over pneumonia. Both of them had their moments of glory but in the end both of them were very wrong for Rory. I especially didn't like how Rory changed while with Logan. She mutated from a very kind, unselfish, caring person with no regard for social status to a pretty spoiled brat at times. Logan also treated her bad in the end. Why did he break up with her? Jst because he didn't get his way. That doesn't sound like true love to me. And don't even get me started on the cheating! In conclusion, it would have been nice to see Rory end up with someone entirely different who would treat her right no matter what.

progurl I agree with this article. I love rory and logan. They are cute to be together. Logan is a nice guy, gentle and hot too. Rory deserved someone like logan in her life. In the beginning of their relationship Logan was not treat Rory well or kind but Logan has prove himself that he can commit with the relationship. I dont like Jess atcually. Jess also did not treat Rory well. When Rory and Dean why Jess must interfere in their relationship. Jess had made something to Rory to liked him, end up he did not treat Rory well. Dont say Rory changed while with Logan ,while she with Dean she also changed, she did not treat well of Dean because she is in love with Jess. Im sad when Rory and Logan have broken up. So sad.....

nosemuffin Logan was my least favorite of all her actual boyfriends, in fact, I would have rather seen her with Tristan. He was entertaining enough, but I just don't like them together. If she was truly her mother's daughter, she wouldn't have lasted with him, which I guess is why she didn't. She was taught independence, and at the end of the show, she finally chose that route. I thought the end was perfect as far as Rory was concerned. I think that if Rory ever ends up with one of her old BF's in the future, it will be Jess, even though Dean was probably my favorite. He's grown a lot and I think they have the most in common.

RORYnJESSfan I defnitely agree with you on this Logan situation. I do think that Logan was great. Rory and Logan were really in love but I do think that Rory would do fine with any of her love interest from all 7 seasons. I think that Rory and Dean were a great couple and Rory and Jess were a great couple and Rory and Logan were a great couple and I even think that if he wasn't such a jerk and knew how to express his feelings than even Rory and Tristan would have been a great couple. But anyways I definitely think that you are right about Logan because he was soo sweet and romantic. I mean I think Rory had such great taste in guys and I was definitely upset about Rory not excepting Logan's offer to get married and I was super upset when Logan was a jerk and said that they had to break up if she didn't say yes because they really did love each other. I realllyyy wish that the show was still on to see what happens next. I mean you might be right... Logan and Rory may love each other soo much that they do end up getting back together. But I guess we will never find out and will just have to imagine it in our own minds.

Janni I totally agree with you. Logan LOVED Rory more than anything int he world, and when they were togehter they were really comfortable with each other(L) I think that Logan was the best boyfriend for Rory<3

Coco24 I love logan too! He is the best for Rory they complete the others personality. Logan makes Rory Daring and Rory helps make Logan responsible. I mean even Lorelai like logan better than she like Jess that has got to tell you something. If there is more seasons I think Rory and logan should get back together and with time they sould get MARRIED same for Lorelai and Luke.

JolijnAdri Logan was at first a bit of a 'bad boy' but he soon changed and he was THE BEST BOYFRIEND EVER!! He cared for rory and loved her. I AM IN LOVE WITH LOGAN

becsta194 i liked logan and rory and jess and rory. i hated dean he was such a loser! jess was the best though cause they had heaps in common. i agree that jess treated her badly in season 3 but logan kinda did to and i hated how rory changed when she was with logan. i think i rory had given jess a chance in season 6 they could have been really great cause he would have been responsible. even though i didnt like logan as much i culdnt help but feel sorry for him when rory turned down his proposal! i would like to think she turned him down for jess!!! in my dreams!!!! ily :)

spikes_girl You are definitely NOT ALONE in your opinion on this (which you kept saying, LOL)! Not only do you have 95% of the users above support, you also have mine. I love Rory and Jess just like you do, but Logan was the best for her, he's definitely my favorite of her boyfriends. I agree, it was so sweet how he completely changed himself for her! I love Rory&Logan :)

maggiebabyy14 i love logan and rory together. every man in this show had his moments. My main point it that Logan grew up and was going to commit to rory, ad jess never would have. he wasnt the commitment type.

kat4543 I agree that Logan and Rory made a great couple, but I disagree that her and Jess made a good couple.Jess was a jeck. He didn't know how to be in a reationship. Logan and Dean knew how to treat someone they care about. Not that Rory treated Dean any better then Jess treated her.

pinacolada92 I liked Logan, but I really think Rory should be with Jess... with Logan Rory stopped being herself, I liked the way it was: Rory was shy, nice and loved to read and Lorelai was more the party girl. And with Logan you can see Rory change.

SillyJilly96 I loved logan. I am probably reading this way too late but I just got into watching gilmore girls. I love logan. I thought he made rory complete. Rory was a tense. Person and logan made her loosen up as shown in the episode of the life and death bregade episode where she jumped off a structure. He completed her they evened each other out and that is always a ood thing. I know exactly what you mean with the logan haters in this world and this is actually my first positive story I have heard about him. I thought you made great points and I totally agree with you.

liana84444 I don't hate Logan. But it was so obvious that he totally changed the person Rory used to be. When Dean said that he did not belong in her world, I realized that even Rory wasn't brought up to be in that world. Look at all the damage she went through. I'll agree that Jess caused her a lot of damage and pain too, (not only did he mess up Dean and Rory's relationship but he messed his own with Rory). But when Jess appeared in season 6, everything he said was so true... "this isn't you Rory, this isn't you! You know it isn't! What's going on?!" Later Rory herself says, "I never stole a boat (or yacht) when I was with Dean..". And he did cheat on her, with multiple women. "You didn't just cheat on me, you really cheated on me!" Maybe Logan seemed good enough, as he was extremely rich and went to Yale but he sure influenced her in a bad way. From the very beginning Lorelai did not like him for Rory, the same way she did not like Jess for Rory. Jess did become a better person and the reason Jess disliked Dean was because, he was jealous and infuriated by Rory and Dean's relationship and later by their friendship. But as for Logan, he could see how wrong he was for Rory at the first meeting itself. But, ending up with Jess or Logan, either one would require Rory to settle down where they lived and belonged and would make her a totally different person. Rory, would have to travel but Stars Hollow is where she belongs. It's her home town and Lorelai's settled there. And The Gilmore Girls stay together. This is the biggest reason, why I felt that Lorelai and Luke, Rory and Dean belonged together. And because both those Gilmore guys loved their Gilmore girls very much.

sherulzz I love Logan/Rory. He was the one that was right for her,a nd the one that she should have ended up with [maybe not by marrying him, but just continuing their relationship]. They got through thick and thin together, and how? Through communication, which Jess lacked. AND by sticking on the same page, which Dean lacked. That's why Logan was ideal for Rory. She loved him, and he loved her. He never bailed, and yes, he had moments where he was a jerk, but he was always remorseful! And he always accepted change and wanted to better himself. Look at how Logan turned out in the end. :) So proud. I don't know what the hell kind of writer decides to end a three-season/three year relationship on the penultimate episode, with something as crappy as "it's all or nothing". Not only is that out of character for someone like Logan, who would NEVER desert Rory or issue an ultimatum. it's terrible on Rory's part to accept such a blase, out-of-nowhere break up. What the hell?? I hated the ending.
