He deserved to end up with Serena. He definitely deserves a happy ending with her way more than Dan does. Dan doesn't even deserve a happy ending to begin with. But, yet Dan has a happy ending with Serena (The love of Nate's life), while Nate ends up single and alone. Nate seemed kind of sad and lonely despite his sucess. Poor Nate. For those of you who argue that Serena is not the love of Nate's life, she is. Dan may be the love of Serena's life, but Serena's the love of Nate's life. He loved her more than any of his other girlfriends.
