I know, right? I guess THAT'S why the ratings are doing even worse than usual right now. And why there are way less comments on the NY Mag recap than ever before. Because people are so damn excited for BLANd (dubbed by the Wall Street Journal reviewer, btw, not me. Although it is fitting).

The show has been getting awful ratings, and most reviewers have been saying that 'Gossip Girl is the worst thing on television right now'. I'm not just saying that because I loathe DB, it's just a fact. So, I'd really love to see where everyone is hearing reviewers say that DB is the greatest thing since sliced bread, because I'm obviously missing these interviews.

There is only 3 episodes left before a hiatus, not left for the season. Then after the hiatus Blair will be off with that Prince dude.

I couldn't care less what Blair does. And sadly enough, I also don't care anymore what Dan does. They can do whatever they want.

I'll just be sitting shiva waiting for this show to get quality again.

I kind of ditto Mon, it's honestly not fair to blame dair for bad reviews and loss of ratings and saying they are the only reason gg is bad. Atm, the show sort of sucks in general, dair aside the plots have been super boring and unappealing. My point being, some fans like dair, others don't, but be honest when you are talking about overall quality.

Funny how the fact that the ratings are low right now doesn't matter, yet all DBers were saying was that they'll SAVE the show and whatnot. Well I don't see that happening.

I don't think ONLY DB is making this show downhill, but BECAUSE of their storyline, the other main characters like Chuck and Serena are stuck with boring as hell and pointless SLs with guest stars. Nate doesn't have anything to do other than playing pool and Jenny isn't even on the show. So, the only group of GG fans that actually enjoy the show rn are DBers.

^word. hellz to the yess for dair because seriously they are the most refreshing aspect of the show. and outside of the fanpop crazy inernet bloggers bubble where majority of the people who watch television dont talk about it online, everyone seems to love dair. a lot of people stopped watching GG cuz it was repetitive and boring. the ratings suck because people gave up on it a while ago. but altho there maybe some negative reviews about dair out there, the MAJORITY of them give very postive feedback on dan&blairs relationship. they are seriously the only fresh aspect of the show. and the reason chuck and S's storylines suck is cuz really theres not much the writers can do with them anymore. so thank god for dan and blair. haters gonna hate but really they are entertaining and tons of people think so. a lot of my friends have started watching the show again only because from word of mouth about how hilarious DB are.

This show is called Gossip Girl, not The Chair Show, and there are other characters that are involved too. Dair right now is the only good thing, the rest of the story is terrified. They have witty banter because they are actually the two smartest characters on the show. It will obviously not last very long anyway. Chair will end up together, just wait and let Dair fans have their enjoyment.

They are the only reason I am still watching.
And maybe the ratings are down because no one cares about another Chuck/Hotel storyline, or Serena's next boy toy. Those are getting old.
So far, I've only seen positive reviews for Dair.

I find it really hilarious that when 4x11 got high ratings (well, high for GG), the DB fans ran around saying it was because of Dair, and that Dair was going to save GG and bring back its season 1 glory. Now that the ratings are lower than they ever have been (4x12 and 4x13 were series lows), you guys are shying away and placing the blame on other SLs. Now I see how it is. If something good happens, it's because of Dair, but if something bad happens, it's all on the other characters. Cool.

Oh and I'll let the Dair fans have their enjoyment when the trolling of the CB spot/spamming of the GG spot with fake accounts (it doesn't strike you at all odd that the person who made this pick is xodanandblair... sounds a bit similar to my account, no?) ends for good. But until then...

I don't like Chair or Dan/Blair. Chair have hurt each other too many times and Dan/Blair is completely ooc. It's like they are trying to turn her into Serena (all I loveeverybody!). Blair is supposed to be a b*tch/snob. It's part of her character and part of the reason I like her. Now they are turning her all sweet and charitable. Blair is very loyal and loving but certainly neither of those. If you like those characteristics then like Serena! Leave my Blair alone!
