I might get a new hampster soon. I want a hampster that lives long and isnt aggressive. What kind should I get? plz help

Im thinking of getting some kind of dwarf hampster but i dont want one thats too small. I used to have a dwarf campbell but he died after 2 years. I really miss his cute twitchy wiskers and his soft fur.:(
also do any of u know how to control hampster odors because my old hampster stunk up my room no matter how much i cleaned an washed his cage. When i get a new hampster im going to get it a new big cage! :)
