Harry Potter vs. Twilight Article: Harry Potter Did Not Copy Twilight

I honestly don't hate, dislike, like atau Cinta Twilight. It's just neutral with me. I never really had any problem with it until I saw an artikel saying that Harry Potter copied Twilight. The person who wrote it also went so far as to say that J.K. Rowling is ugly and that Stephenie Meyer is the pretty one. It just irked me, because the looks don't even matter (they're both equal too) and it's not a valid point.

She berkata something about Sirius Black being copied from Jacob Black - who is commonly described as a big serigala, wolf in his werewolf form. And Sirius (she spelled it as 'Serious'. I laughed and I got slightly mad. Oh well) could turn into a dog. So she thought that Sirius Black was created because of Jacob. But being a Potterhead, I know that Prisoner of Azkaban (when Sirius was mentioned) came out on July 8th, 1999, around six years before the first Twilight book (Oct. 5th, 2005).

Even the Prisoner of Azkaban movie came out before the Twilight series started (May 31, 2004). So how can Twilight peminat-peminat say that Harry Potter copied from Twilight. Please don't say that as it is wrong. I really wouldn't bother you... But I just need to say that the book series that I Cinta did not copy from Twilight.

Makeupdiva I for one am not a fan of Twilight. I used to be but not anymore. I just got bored and annoyed of the whole Twilight thing. But how can anyone say that about Harry Potter. Both movies and books came out before Twilight. Besides, the only thing they really have in common are the werewolves. So, Harry Potter did not copy Twilight. I think these fans need to do a little research on Harry Potter before they start making judgement calls like this. It's kind of an insult.

rose12345 how in the world can harry potter copy twilight? like you said it did come out before twilight and like the comment above me they both have werewolves, but adding to the werewolves thing the werewolves in harry potter are wayyy diffrent from the werewolves in twilight so um yea people do wayy better plus twilight has noting on harry potter even thou twilight is pretty good, well the books

reganhwts If you love Hp, which you do, try reading the Legend of Drizzt it is a long series but is really interesting, warning if you don't like spiders, maybe you shouldn't read it but I hate spiders, and I was ok

Here's my response to this rubbish.

1- the Penulisan is better
Um, no. It's really not.

2- the actors/actresses who film the movie are talented
WHAT?! Ok, you're talking about the ecstatic Kristen Stewart, right? The Kristen Stewart who shows so much emotion in every seen of the movies? She looks really excited, huh? She might as well be a mannequin.

3- bella is a role model (she teaches people to hold on to their friendships and stuff and keep their secrets)
Bella is a role model!??!??! Ok, when Edward left bella in New Moon, Bella curled up for months, MONTHS. So that's basically saying that...
