Harry Potter vs. Twilight Article: HP vs TWILIGHT(??)

My soalan is Is anyone alse tired of this "HP vs Twilight" things??
Because it is driving me crazy..

First of all I need to say I Cinta THEM BOTH so much!! I think HP was extremely original I grew up with it and I looove it.. and Twilight is so romantic, I mean, could they be lebih crazy about each other?? (NOPE!!), and I looove it too!! (L) =]

However one thing is true:
Most twilight peminat-peminat ARE crazy, annoying, funny, scary, etc.. being one I talked to many and some were really funny (they actually believed they were going to marry Edward) and others really scared me (because I loved HP too they told me I should burn my Twilight buku and couldn't say I was a Twilight peminat anymore) XD

BUT it doesn't mean we are all crazy, atau stupid.. some of us are lebih critical and realize Twilight is not the best book ever, and SM is not the best writer ever, and Edward Cullen isn't real LOL X)

Oh and yeah, I know SM's Penulisan is simple, but JKR's is not that different.. they're both easy to read ADMIT IT (they were written so kids and teens could read it!!!).. they're quite simple but if anda are smart enough to read "between the lines" you'll see they both deal with "grown up" issues..

WHAT I WANT TO SAY IS THAT THIS IS REALLY STUPID.. ONE STORY IS ABOUT MAGICIANS AND FANTASY, AND THE OTHER ABOUT Vampires AND FANTASY.. ONE IS ABOUT LOYALTY, FAMILY AND FRIENDSHIP, AND THE OTHER ABOUT LOVE, Friends CAUGHT IN A Cinta segitiga, segi tiga AND FAMILY..

SO PLEASE STOP THIS.. THEY'RE DIFFERENT!!!!!!
I Cinta THEM BOTH AND I'M REALLY TIRED OF CHOOSING THINGS FOR ONE SIDE THEN FOR THE OTHER JUST BECAUSE ONE OF THE peminat-peminat INSULTED ONE BOOK..

this is crazy that's all.. they both have amaizing things and they both have not so good things.. for example:
-VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!! X)

I hated that.. but also:
-WAS IT NESSESARY TO KILL SO MANY CHARACTERS IN HP?? X)

I mean it! it was STUPID killing so many charactes WE ALL LOVED SO MUCH! X(

and well, many other things that made no sense in both books.. but THEY ARE BOTH SO AMAIZING, I Cinta THEM SO MUCH THAT I DON'T EVEN CARE!!
YEES, Vampires *SPARKLE* IN THE SUN SO WHAAT?? AND YEES, EVERYONE DIES SO WHAAT??

THEY ARE SOME OF THE BEST STORIES EVEEER AND I Cinta THEM!!

EmilyWeasley God, I completly agree with you. It's annoying that people think we should take sides!! Some people think it's the same thing (which is not!!) and the others think it's totally different so we should just like one of them. How stupid is that?? I love Bella and Alice and I Love Hermione and Tonks, OK?!

burgundyeyes You're right that comparing those two books is useless. but, i assure you that this "war" will not end. perhaps the "old" fans will realise it and stop. but there will always be new fans for both series and they will continue on the "battle". you said that one of the not so good thing about hp is that J.K killed too many characters. well, it's reality. it's time of war. and war isn't a little game. people die, it was to be expected. in normal wars (non magical ones), humans die. yes, we are sad. but, that's the way it is. (i'm not saying that war is good, though)

Bookaholics Actually, I think it's fun to have friendly debates and little arguments. But I agree the "war" has gone to far.

"Why compare Harry Potter and Twilight? Why would anda compare such different things?" are two soalan this spot has come across often. And to be honest, it irritates the living crap out of me when people ask this.
The media plays a role in things and this Debat is no different. On the cover of Breaking Dawn there is a quote from USA Today saying "Move over Harry Potter".(Newsflash, we're not going anywhere) Now, don't tell me that doesn't anger you/ anda wouldn't feel angry if anda were a Harry Potter fan. "Stephanie Meyer is the new J.K.Rowling." It really pisses me off when people say this...

1. Bella is a perfect character (“Mary Sue”), which Meyer hides sejak calling her clumsy.

2. Being clumsy is not a flaw if Edward always catches her.
3. She can’t do anything without Edward.
4. And when he leaves she attempts to commit suicide.
5. Meyer is living out her own fantasies sejak Penulisan about Bella, who is clearly herself.
6. The buku aren’t well written, just because every other word is a fancy adjective doesn’t make it good writing.

Are these people kidding themselves? The worst is the Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson one. Ugh!

I was horrified sejak looking at them. It's one thing to be a part of a fad but it's a whole different thing to make that fad a part of your body.

What is the world coming to? Tomorrow when these girls go to get these horrors removed they'll probably be spending a lot lebih than they spent paying to get it done.

Now here's the thing that seems to be the popular topic now. Harry Potter buku and the Twilight series. First I'd like to point out I do not call Twilight a "saga" is because well if anda look it up anda will know why. There's this whole big clash of the Twilight fanatics and the Harry Potter fanatics. I just need to vent out on how I feel about this situation.

Okay if anda Cinta Twilight than that's fine with me. I respect your opinions, but to me the book was terrible. anda can instantly tell that it was Meyer's first book she had ever written. I only hate the book, I don't hate anda for liking...

Bella angsa, swan is a complex character. On the one hand she emphasizes the need to be independent, on the other she depends on guys to make her life meaningful. The emphasis on Edward and Jacob being handsome are probably the only reason she wants either of them. Her personality never grows over the course of the buku and thus her interesting-ness is never explored. In contrast; she does take responsibility for her actions. Edward being an abusive, manipulative and obsessive boyfriend has been discussed and beaten to death a million times. But these qualities come across as endearing to Bella....

Well i think that it's quite obvious that HARRY POTTER has lebih peminat-peminat than twilight. Cause some people might not of heard of twilight before. I also think that people would like HARRY POTTER better because....

there is lebih action and killing
some people might like wizards better
the weasley brothers are funny

I think people would like TWILIGHT because....

there is lebih love
some people might like Vampires better
it's a great story

I don't have a favourite because i Cinta HARRY POTTER and i Cinta TWILIGHT.HARRY POTTER and TWILIGHT are amazing.
