Is there a way to get a perfect set of abs without ever going to the gym? NBC 10's Lauren Cohn checked out a new trend in perfecting the six-pack abs.
anda may have seen airbrush tanning. Many selebriti bronze up for their big screen close-up. What about their mid-section?
Is it possible that Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey's perfect abs are the result of body contouring? If so, anda could get the same look. Carey reportedly airbrushed her abs for the Fourth of July. Reports also say that Lopez and Jackson use airbrushed abs when they are in the spotlight. Spray tanning isn't new, but airbrushing the six-pack is becoming trendy.
"Who doesn't want to look great in a bikini, look like a celebrity, a star? It's a great alternative," berkata Louise Marzulli, of Sun Capsule in Rittenhouse Square.
Marzulli berkata that sprayed-on abs are popular. But does the body contouring really look like six-pack abs? Jennifer Grosskopf, 35, decided to give it a try.
"In today's age, having a great body and being in shape and looking good is very important," Grosskopf said.
Grosskopf is already fit and tan, but she wanted her abs to be lebih defined.
First, a strip of tape is laid down the middle of her stomach. Then, three pieces are placed on each side of the middle tape.
She was sprayed with DHA for 20 minit and then the tape was taken off. Grosskopf berkata she saw a difference.
NBC 10 intern Loren Huggett has a different body type and she isn't tan, but she gave it a try.
The tape marks were pretty obvious right after the procedure, but five days later the look was much lebih subtle.
"People who are athletic, work out, who are health-conscious, fit, it's much better on them. Someone who is tall and lanky, pale, it doesn't work out as well. We can only do so much," Marzulli said.
NBC 10 tested the prodedure one lebih time on NBC 10 intern Liz Nagy. This time, Marzulli used a stencil to outline the abdominal muscles. She berkata that the stencil works best on short-waisted, fit women.
"If I was going to pantai atau headed somewhere else important where my stomach would show, I would consider getting it done," Nagy said.
The DHA does not protect anda from the sun, so anda will still need sunscreen.
At Sun Capsule, it costs $55 for the sprayed-on abs, plus the whole body. There are plenty of places in the area that do spray tanning, but not many that do the sprayed-on abs.

It's also a fact that if anda write in capitol letters IT TAKES LONGER FOR THE BRAIN TO PROCESS THE INFORMATION and therefore takes longer to read. Originally all the road signs (In England anyway) were written in capitol letters, until they were redone and someone found that smaller case letters were quicker to read. So they changed it.
So seterusnya time anda feel like shouting because your book sucks, don't write in capitols, but put...
