Are these people kidding themselves? The worst is the Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson one. Ugh!

I was horrified sejak looking at them. It's one thing to be a part of a fad but it's a whole different thing to make that fad a part of your body.

What is the world coming to? Tomorrow when these girls go to get these horrors removed they'll probably be spending a lot lebih than they spent paying to get it done.

First I'd like to point out I do not call Twilight a "saga" is because well if anda look it up anda will know why. There's this whole big clash of the Twilight fanatics and the Harry Potter fanatics. Bella angsa, swan is a complex character. On the one hand she emphasizes the need to be independent, on the other she depends on guys to make her life meaningful. The emphasis on Edward and Jacob being handsome are probably the only reason she wants either of them. Her personality never grows over the course of the buku and thus her interesting-ness is never explored. In contrast; she does take responsibility for her actions. Edward being an abusive, manipulative and obsessive boyfriend has been discussed and beaten to death a million times. But these qualities come across as endearing to Bella....

The Difference Between Debating and Fighting

As anda probably know, the Twilight vs. Harry Potter spot is a Debat spot. We come here mainly to Debat over which series is better and why, atau to discuss why we like one series better than the other, then others can, if they wish, Debat the points made in the other persons arguments.

However, there is a difference between debating and fighting.

When anda debate, anda are willing to see both sides of an argument. anda have to understand why the other person is saying what they are saying before anda Debat against their point. Understanding does NOT necessarily mean agreeing. It means "I see why...

"Bella is a Mary Sue"

Everytime I read an anti Twilight article/poll/etc, I see the same point in each.

"Bella is a Mary Sue!"

I don't understand this. The term Mary Sue suggests a perfect person, a person with no flaws, a type of character most people detest Membaca about. And Bella seems to have been labelled as this a lot. And yet, the same people, who label her as a Mary Sue will complain oh how Bella mistreats her friends, what a coward she is, how dependent on men she is, how silly she is, how whiny she is and the much used: She keeps droning on, and on about Edward!

How does this argument make sense? In one line the writer is stating how perfect she is, the other, how annoying and stupid she is.

Explain to me please?

I'm not just good, because the first thought was that I noticed the keyboard problem. But then I saw that it was too frequent, several problems with keyboards on many different people.

Is Twilight Anti-Feminist?

Stephenie Meyer explicitly pointed out that "feminism" is "being able to choose." I agree with this entirely; the right to choose is important.

But the right to choose is only part of the question. When telah diberi the chance to choose, which path do we choose? Do we choose to let men into our lives and still maintain our independence, atau do we choose to allow men to dominate our lives, both physically and psychologically?

In the case of Bella Swan, she chose the saat path.

In my opinion, choosing that road is no different from choosing at all. Choices, as we all know, perpecahan, berpecah into right and wrong....
