Is there anyone here who isn't obsessed with the UsUk pairing?

To me it just seems as if wherever i go, I just see so many things about UsUk... About how "great" it is.
What is so great about UsUk? Honestly, I don't really see it in those two. I see America & England as brothers lebih then anything. Even though America gave that up when he got his independance.
Here are the reasons why i dislike UsUk.
-I don't see either America atau England as being gay-
-In the anime, They kinda seem to not get along well. I mean, England tries to harm America with that cursed chair in episode 26, Right?-
-I see them as brothers lebih then a pairing. Even though as i berkata before America gave that up after he got his independance.
-UsUk is *One word* OVERRATED

Is there anyone in this spot that dislikes UsUk?

I agree it's way too over rated and glorified. They may not 'technically' be related but it's like dating your adopted brother atau son which equals incest. Wouldn't America be very embarrassed about letting folks know he's gay? Heck, wouldn't he even be ashamed of having feelings for the same gender (okay a step too far but still)? Like, not to put anyone off the pairing, anda ship what anda ship. But I think America wouldn't be very open about having feelings for the same gender. But, blah, just ignore me! I'm not a professional when it comes to these things! Especially since I can't word things very well and I may be looking to deeply and seriously into something as simple as a pairing!

I still think it's rather cute though (in a platonic way!)

My God, someone agrees on what I have to say on a pairing! *freaks out excitedly for a moment* I'm glad that people aren't thinking that I'm looking too deeply into things. I don't hate the pairing, I don't hate the peminat-peminat and I don't hate England atau America. But I hate some of the fangirls who will annoy the hell out of anda just for merely disliking a single thing about it.
