I believe, the characters is and should be of greater weight than the pairings.
There's actually more of him in the series than the pairing. And, well, personally, I'm more into comedy than romance.

No, I'm really not biased. Because I have looked at the full picture, I don't hate/like things for looks or what characters are in it. I used to ship UsUk, was in that fandom three times or three different reasons. Eye candy, personality, and history. None worked out, so I know that fandom well. Because I was in and out of it for around little over half a year I think. And it's not one example, clearly you haven't looked around the internat enough. Because there are thousands of examples of UsUk being biased France and FrUk haters. I have searched DA just to see if there was any UsUk or America hate art, and I saw nothing for America and only three stamps for UsUk. And they weren't even hateful, just stating facts. 'UsUk is incest' 'Rev. War was not UsUk' and the stamps for 'I don't ship UsUk'. Oh I one that said 'UsUk is not canon'. While for FrUk it's 'Die FrUk' 'FrUk is innaccurate' 'They hate each other'. And France gets ones like 'France is evil' and different rape ones. For god sakes I saw a picture of what was France clearly having just raped England, England crying and reaching for America, and America holding a gun to France. So that hit a lot of the sick stereotypes there, England being a helpless uke, America being all bada** ready to kill someone (Like he would do that), and France being a rapist.

Um, we are. That club isn't actual that much hate, as you see Anti-FrUk videos and Anti-FrUk blogs are for. If you talked to the owner of that club, she'll tell you to not have rude hate there and that that club is so people don't have a hard time finding pictures of other pairings. Because I actually called them out once when I first saw it, and she explained the club very calmly to me. While I see a lot of UsUk fans b**ing at her. Also, my Reasons to Support FrUk video, like I have said before, I get atleast 4/3 trolls on it a day. After a while I just start deleting their comments. But, on the Reasons to Support UsUk video, I didn't go and watch it, but I asked my friend to see if FrUk fans were trolling it. And she said she saw only two comments, one was just sarcastic and the other was more them pointing out incorrect parts. Like I said, we stay in are own fandom, unless someone says something that is inaccurate and incorrect about it or if someone is hating on France. Actually there used to be an Anti-France club on there, until me and the RedRoseFollowers called them out and got them to delete it.

I'm not saying that the UsUk fandom is completely innocent. I'm well aware of how some of them treat the fans, but like I said, the FrUK fandom is just as guilty. I've seen Anti-UsUk videos as well as fanart. Hell, there's an anti-UsUk blog on tumblr. As I said earlier, you cannot deny what's right befor our eyes. Everybody knows that the FrUK fandom is not short on bashing, and you're the biggest evidence. What, you don't call going on a pairing's club, start insulting the fans for NO REASON AT ALL, bullying the fans AND telling them to leave the fandom, or saying that they should go to hell? If that is not bashing, then I don't know what is. Leave the whole UsUk vs. FrUK fight behind and think for a moment; just what do you think you achieve by doing that? Making them change their opinions? Well, let me tell you something: as long as you treat the fans this way, you will NEVER even get close to do something like that. You would only make them more defensive AND cause more shipping wars. Is that what you really want? To tear the fandom apart until no one can stand talking to the other? Because trust me, that's exactly what you are doing right now.

Trying to change someone's opinion by force will never get you anywhere, and I hate it when people do that. But if you really can't stand the pairing so much, why don't you try to at least talk to them calmly and reasonably, instead of bashing them and talking to them in such way? And if they don't want to change their opinions, then just leave them alone. I mean, just why are you so hellbent on this subject? It's not like people shipping UsUk stops you from shipping FrUK. I'm well aware that some UsUk fangirls aren't really fond of the FrUK fangirls either, but believe me when I tell that I want nothing more slapping those idiots who say 'France is a rapist' or 'he raped England!' as much as you do. I've posted critisizing comments on those fanfictions where 'France raped England, America comforted him' more than once, something which I rarely ever do, but I still did it because of how pathetic the writer wrote their work, as well as the fact that I knew I had to stop staying silent about these works.I just... I just want this fandom to become a peaceful place. I can't be the only one who wishes for that, right?

I just want to emphasize again that part which Ama said. Persuasion is not done through force and antagonism 'cause, as I always say, it only elicits antagonism, anger and resistance. In that case, it'll only be for nothing. In other words, it'll only be pointless. Instead it'll only worsen the situation as it will tear apart the fandom and add up to the chaos. I presume that is something everyone never wants - the chaos. So if there's a need to change ways, we can use a little more of that change. As it has been mentioned also, the person should show composure, and most importantly respect (in the sense that, though you may not accept their opinion, at least you do not insult the others). In that way, gaining the trust and respect of other people, they will in turn be more receptive of your idea. To summarize all of this, anyone can just refer to the "Golden Rule" - do what you want others do unto you. Do not do what you do not want to be done unto you. Render respect to each other, at least, and that's how "diplomacy" starts.
Doing otherwise, then it only makes the person of no difference to those disrespectful commenters/fans being complained of. Or as they say - "The pot is calling the kettle black."... If the FrUk are more mellowed down than the UsUk shippers, supposed it is true, then at least we are the better team when it comes to that, be proud of it, and no need to ruin that by adding to those aggressive shippers. As I mentioned earlier, have respect and composure in speech, please... have respect and composure... it's pretty basic.
Having that explained, hope we all have come to an agreement. We should be expecting improvements around, shouldn't we? There are still enough room for improvements and this fandom will gladly welcome it.
