im thinking its any but house and thirteen. ive read that Olivia Wilde (thirteen) has signed for more years and that they are going to keep her so they can go into more detail over her Huntington's. and obviously, it cant be House, because there's no way the show could continue without him. as for anyone else, no one is safe

Well I have been leaning towards Taub or Kutner ever since we got the death spoiler, but I wonder if they qualify as "Major Characters."

Yeah when I first read it I'm like major character? I was freaking out that it'd be Wilson, but I guess ducklings could be major characters... It's still disconcerting to her major instead of main...

This is just lame. "Major Character" could cover all the characters, or it could just be referring to the OT3. It depends on what their definition of a "major character" is! To me, the major characters are House, Wilson, Cuddy, Kutner, Taub, Thirteen, Foreman, Chase and Cameron. But another way to look at it is that House, Wilson and Cuddy are the "major characters" since the other characters are subordinate team members.
If it is just narrowed to the OT3, then maybe the Wilson theory is the most plausible....

Maybe it'll be Foreman. Maybe he gets so depressed that no one likes his taste in jewelry that he offs himself. On a more serious note, it would definitely screw with 13 if she outlived foreman.

NO NO NO NO NO. Not the OT3. Seriously if they touch the OT3 i won't be able to take it.
That being said, i do also think that main character refers to all 9 main cast-members. :(

Same here, if any of the OT3 are killed, I won't be able to handle it at all. But I also think that all the cast members could be defined as major characters, especially those on House's team, since they get the most screen time aside from House himself.

Ausiello said months ago that Cuddy isn't going anywhere and RSL has signed on for three more years and House , well that's self explanatory. I bet it's Kutner or Taub.

Yeah, that is right people suck. But what worries me a little is that RSL could negotiate himself out of his contract. He has just had a baby (LOL! Well, his wife did!) and he is always talking about how he hates working at the best of times. So I a tiny little part of me wonders if he may have rethought things after the birth of his child and then asked if he could leave the show.
Of course, if Wilson leaves, I will have a stroke and die.

Well, RSL renewed his contract too, but they can probably negotiate themselves out of their contracts if they want to leave...

Seriously missy I hate how major characters could mean OT3 or OT3 + ducklings. Now I'm worried it's RSL cause you can wiggle out of a contract ;_;. Nooo, what is Sherlock Holmes without a Watson?! And what about his new love interest, surely it'll be at least 6 episodes...

And by the way... ANYONE can wriggle out of a contract, not just RSL.

Wilson has a love interest coming, a brother arc that isn't going to be resolved this season according to DS and... I see RSL as an intelligent human being: Wilson already left at the start of this season! If he wanted out... Wilson just didn't have to come back. It's that simple. And now House without Wilson is already explored. House with guilt over messing with Wilson's life isn't new either.

RSL knew the baby was coming when they did the birthmarks episode... he had a perfect window of opportunity the minute he saw the scripts and he stayed on. So in my mind... he's content with his contract.

And... I believe that House will need something of a different nature to send him over the edge.
