It was winter, the Krismas party was just finishing up downstairs in the lobby, but House chose to stay up in his office with Wilson. Both of them talking, and relaxing as the snow began to fall outside.

“Merry Christmas…” Wilson and House clinked their glasses of whisky together. House propped his leg up on the ottoman, before Wilson’s pager went off.

“It’s Cuddy…can I use your phone?” House watched as Wilson leapt up out of his seat, and picked up the receiver.

“What’s going on?” Wilson asked Cuddy, who was downstairs in her office. She had started having painful contractions, as she gripped the edge of the desk, and let out a scream. “Where are you? I think the baby’s coming…” Wilson looked at House, with an anxious look on his face. “She’s in labour. We need to get to her office.” House left with Wilson for the elevators, both of them concerned lebih than excited.

“As they reached the lobby, it was empty, the clinic lights were switched off as the walked towards Cuddy’s office; her scream could be heard from miles away. House walked in first, looking at Cuddy who was obviously in some serious pain. Wilson moved past him, offering Cuddy a hand to alih her to the sofa.

House sat seterusnya to Cuddy, holding her hand; Cuddy squeezed it as hard as she could whilst she went into labour.

“I can’t believe anda did this to me!” Cuddy shouted in anger at House, leaving Wilson to look up at House in annoyance.

“I can offer anda a Vicodin, atau maybe three. If I knew getting anda laid would cause me this much pain-” Wilson checked his watch. “House, shut up. Lisa anda need to push.” Cuddy pushed one last time, before Cuddy began to tear up and laugh as she heard her baby girl cry.

“Here’s your baby girl.” Wilson smiled, and handed her to Cuddy, who wrapped it in her sweater.

“Oh my God, I can’t believe it.” Cuddy giggled with joy as she looked up at House, who sat there in amazement.

“I’ll go get some towels.” Wilson stood up, and left, as smile appearing on his face as he closed the door behind him.

“Wow. I can’t believe it.” House looked at a smiling and teary-eyed Cuddy, he could see that Cuddy was so happy.

“…She’s beautiful.” Cuddy spoke so softly, as her baby gurgled and opened her eyes to look up at her.

When Wilson came back with some towels, House stood up, a look of sadness clearly present on his face.

Cuddy looked up at House, who was about to leave. “Where are anda going?” Cuddy’s face was filled with panic. “You’ve made your decision, I can’t—I can’t stay here when she’s going to be taken away from you, from us. I’m sorry.” House left with a look of regret on his face, leaving a bemused Wilson and Cuddy.

“Let’s get anda to a room.” Wilson left to get a wheelchair from the clinic, and then took her up to a private room.

It was around ten o’clock in the morning when Cuddy woke-up in her private room; filled to the ceiling with bouquets of Bunga and of course, another large duck.

Pulling herself up, she smiled weakly at the balloons with “It’s a Girl.” in big letters imprinted on them. Looking to the side, she saw her beautiful baby girl sleeping silently.

Wilson smiled, before he tapped lightly on the glass and entered the room. “Morning. Everything okay?” Cuddy smiled, before Wilson stood at her bedside. “Yeah, everything’s fine. I just…I expected her to be gone sejak now.” Wilson looked at Cuddy, troubled. “Do you, want her to go?” Cuddy quickly looked up Wilson, “No I don’t, I was just afraid.” Cuddy looked back at her baby, smiling as she stroked the few brown hairs on her head.

“Are anda doubting your decision?” Wilson leant out his hand, on her shoulder, as she began to cry.

“I didn’t want to make this decision, but House made it for me.” Cuddy shied away from Wilson, who had now pulled up a najis to sit on.
“You should do what anda want, if that means keeping your daughter, then do it. Don’t make a mistake that you’ll regret, and hate House for, for the rest of your life.” Wilson’s sound words radiated through her, as she looked up and smiled at him.

“Thank you.” Wilson smiled before looking over at her baby girl. “What are anda going to name her?” Cuddy laughed softly, before looking at her, with green eyes and dark brown hair. “Cassandra, atau Cassie for short.” Wilson smiled, before he left them. “I’ll come back later.”

“Wait.” Cuddy stopped Wilson, just as he opened the door. “Where’s House?”

House was in his office, surrounding himself with new patients; two to be exact. All of which had perplexing mysterious illnesses, which he found comforting in a time of great pain for himself.

“I heard Cuddy had her kid last night.” Thirteen spoke, before looking at Foreman and Taub. Their feelings were mutual.

“Why aren’t anda with her?” Foreman asked point blank, trying to provoke a reaction.

“Luckily daisy here doesn’t have a kid, because if she did she’d probably be left an orphan.”

“Her names Maggie, and your kid has a dad; you.” House looked with a menace at Foreman who was now standing, whilst both Taub and Thirteen looked down at the files in front of them, knowing that they could never stand up to House like Foreman did.

“We can handle it. Even if anda won’t visit them, anda can’t be here.” Foreman started to talk about the patient, and Penulisan things on the whiteboard. House stared on, feeling disappointed in himself, so he left and made his way to Wilson’s office.

“Where is Cuddy?” Wilson looked up, in surprise. “Err, she’s on the private ward. Room 316. Do anda want me to come with you?” House turned around, and made a very quick response, “No.”.

Walking towards the room, he could smell the scents of the masses of Bunga that had built up in her room. He stood outside the window and saw that Cuddy was asleep. He gently opened the sliding door and walked towards the small tempat tidur bayi, katil bayi that Cassie was sleeping in.

“House.” Cuddy spoke in a quiet and surprising tone. House walked to the bahagian, atas of her bed, and checked the chart.

“I’m happy you’re here House.” House seemed to try and avoid any emotional conversation. “I’ll up your morphine, maybe take the edge off.” Cuddy found comfort in House’s quick wit.

“You didn’t come up here to play doctor.” House put her chart back at the bahagian, atas of the bed, before she sat-up and gestured to House to come closer. Cuddy picked up Cassie and cradled her close in her arms, as House approached with caution.

“She won’t bite, well she is your kid so I wouldn’t put it past her.” Cuddy giggled slightly, and Cassie’s eyes opened.

“I named her Cassandra, I hope anda don’t mind.” House was still standing there, bewildered.

“She’s your kid, anda know. anda can call her whatever anda want…” Cuddy smiled at House’s fear of her. “Cassie’s our child. I know anda probably won’t acknowledge that, yet, but I won’t hold it against you. Maybe it was the hormones, I don’t know…”

House looked up at Cuddy, his face filled with hope and realisation. “What I do know, is that I don’t want to give her up, I loved her the minit I gave birth to her.”

When Cuddy looked back at Cassie, House smiled secretly. “She looks just like you.” Cuddy laughed softly at House’s comment; it was a rare moment to hear him say such a nice thing, but she made sure any saat guessing, doubts about House, where squashed. This was something she didn’t want ripped from her anytime soon…
