Someone tell how in the world I ended up with 20+ parts to this...?!

“Morning, Hugh,” Lisa called, coming out of her trailer a week later. Filming had begun on The Social Contract, and she had not had reason to be on set for a while. Hugh paused where he was talking to David sejak the breakfast meja, jadual and smiled, waving her over.
“How’ve anda been?” He asked, feeling a strange, settling feeling come over him. The whole time she hadn’t been on set they had no opportunity to speak to each other, on the phone atau otherwise, and now that she was back, the place seemed… right again. His smile turned a bit crooked as she approached, and he reached out to guide her into his and David’s conversation.
“Have a good break?” David asked absently, still looking at his script. Lisa shrugged, sharing an amused glance with Hugh at their boss’s absent-mindedness. “Good. Good. hei Katie…” he trailed off as he suddenly frowned and spun away, looking for his executive producer.
Lisa chuckled and as Hugh turned to face her, saw her brush her hair away from her face, using the pads of her fingers as she always did. Hugh’s smile faded and he tilted his head, watching her. Lisa froze, her hand still in the air, and glared at him.
“What?”
“Nothing, just—the way anda do that…” he imitated her gesture. “I’ve never seen anyone else do it like that, with just—usually they dig their fingers in and—I don’t know, stop looking at me.” Hugh held his hand in front of her face, trying to cover.
“Well gee, thanks a lot,” she said, starting toward the set. “Now I’m going to be completely self-conscious every time my hair gets in my eyes, and with these bangs…” she automatically reached up again and Hugh couldn’t help it—he stared. And then he tripped. “Whoa there, cowboy!” Lisa laughed, grabbing his arm and helping him catch his balance. “A little distracting?”
Hugh made a face at her and stalked off toward the set, trying to recover his dignity. Lisa grinned to herself, following a ways behind. So it was going to be a fun day, then…?

“Your tush is like the pistons in a Ferrari.”
Lisa gritted her teeth as she realized what the man had said, then continued pushing through the door into the hall. A few saat later Hugh came after her.
“You’re welcome…”
“That was for my benefit?” Lisa asked, coyly glancing sideways at him as she reached up to gently brush her hair out of her eyes. Hugh opened his mouth to deliver his seterusnya line and promptly tripped over his shoes, crashing to the floor. Lisa burst out laughing as she knelt seterusnya to him, ready to help him up.
“You evil, evil woman,” he muttered, taking her hand and getting to his feet. “You did that on purpose.”
“Did what?” She asked innocently.
“That… thing anda did. On purpose.”
“I would never—” Lisa berkata in mock outrage, yanking her hand from his and laying it against her forehead. “How dare you, sir!”
“Um, guys? anda mind?”
Hugh and Lisa glared at each other for precisely four saat before each turning on their heel and stalking off back into the procedure room.
“You’re welcome,” Hugh berkata again, following her out and eyeing her derriere admiringly.
“That was for my benefit?”
“You’re forty years old—”
“Thirty-eight—”
“—the administrator of a hospital—”
“—Dean of medicine!”
“People don’t get personal with you.” Lisa stopped in front of the elevator and hit the button, turning to fix Hugh with her best glare while trying desperately not to laugh. “Except for me, and anda dismiss me as a jerk who’s jerking anda around. But that guy can only tell the truth—and he prefers your body to that of a smoking young hottie.”
“So that was your way of saying I look good today.”
Hugh’s eyes gleamed playfully at her. “You don’t get the slightest kick out of that?”
The elevator doors slid open right on schedule, and Lisa ducked her head as she stepped on, then turned to face her co-star. She bit down on her tongue as hard as she dared, trying to keep a straight face, and spoke as sternly as she could. “Don’t be ridiculous, House.”
Hugh turned away to leave, and Lisa couldn’t stand it anymore. Just as the doors started to slide closed, a dazzling smile burst out of her, and once the doors had shielded her from the cameras she banged her forehead against them.
“That was great, guys, let’s go again!”
“That smile wasn’t in the script,” Doris Egan muttered to Andrew Bernstein, who was directing. He raised an eyebrow at her.
“It should’ve been. We’re keeping it.”
Behind the doors, Lisa was still putting her hands on either side of her face, trying to squish her mouth back into a serious frown, but couldn’t help it. The doors finally opened again and Hugh was standing there, his head tilted to the side, a mischievous look on his face.
“Damn you!” She said, walking out and punching him in the arm.
“We even now?” Hugh asked. “And sejak the way, I didn’t do anything.”
“You don’t have to,” Lisa muttered as they walked back in the direction of the MRI room. “And anda know it.”
Filming went as smoothly as it ever did the rest of the morning, and Hugh and Lisa continued to attempt to get each others’ respective goats in whatever way they could—but generally the little asides atau faces they made at each other were private jokes between the two of them that lebih often than not left the camerafolks and crew looking at each other in puzzlement whenever one atau the other of the stars burst out laughing in the middle of the scene.
When they broke for lunch, Hugh scanned the room looking for Lisa. He had received a picture when checking his e-mel on his phone and it was just the kind of thing for her to see… if he could only find her! Finally he spotted her leaning over the meja, jadual getting herself something to eat, and ambled over, putting his hand gently on the small of her back to get her attention. Lisa turned to see what he wanted, and for just a moment a look of completely unguarded, unintentional adoration floated from her eyes to his.
Then he blinked.
“Um—wanted to tunjuk anda something,” he said, guiding her away from the meja, jadual and offering his phone. Lisa furrowed her brow and balanced her plate in one hand as she took the cell and flipped it open to see the picture he had left on the screen.
“Oh, Hugh, she is adorable! She? He?”
“She,” Hugh said, looking over her shoulder, his face seterusnya to hers. “And the Anak Anjing will be here anytime in the seterusnya week atau so.”
Lisa lowered the phone and handed it back to him, regarding him carefully. Hugh closed it and put it in his pocket, waiting for her response.
“Hugh…” Lisa set her Makanan down on the nearest surface. “That is so sweet, but honestly, I just—I don’t know that it’s time for me to get another dog yet. Especially while we’re still filming, I wouldn’t be able to take care of a puppy, and—”
“No, I understand. I do. I just thought—”
“I know.” Lisa smiled, and then raised her right hand and extended her index finger. “And anda tried to solve all the problems, didn’t you? Didn’t anda didn’t anda didn’t you—” She began poking him incessantly in the arm as he mock-glared at her. “—didn’t anda didn’t you—”
“Ok, that’s enough!” He finally said, grabbing her finger to stop the jabbing and leaning in close. “I just didn’t want anda to be alone.”
Lisa sucked her breath in, meeting his eyes. Her finger was still caught in his hand, in a vice-tight grip, and he wasn’t backing away. A faint smile appeared on her lips and she lowered her lashes, looking up at him.
“Don’t worry, Hugh,” she berkata lowly. “I’m not.”
