But then, I saw the film first. The book was really good though, I loved it.

I picked the movie, but I like both.

The book is this beautifully written, gripping and intriguing piece of near-perfect literature and the film was a good, satisfying piece of eye-candy. I really enjoyed the film but it could never match up to the book. Still, it was cast perfectly (except for Armand, who should have been younger).

i like both, i gotta get my own copy of the book tho :)

The movie was great, but the book is a masterpiece.
