Why Do People Hate Kikyo so Much?

I think Kikyo was really beautiful and kind, I don't see why she has so much hate. She was very strong and wise when she was alive. She did some bad things when she came back, but that wasn't truly her. That was a part of her soul that died angry and hurt. Her anger faded later on and she became good again. And even though she loves Inuyasha, she doesn't get mad that he is with Kagome. Anyways, she is a fictional character, so it's seems really strange that people can get so emotional and mad at her . . .

There were some things that she did that I didn't like too, but essentially I couldn't hate her because without Kikyo and some if the things she did prior to her death, I'm not sure Kagome and Inuyasha would have ever met, so I still think she is a very important character, and hey, no one's perfect.

She loved Inuyasha even when he was a half demon however she was a priestess and had to put her duties first and also she couldn't marry a demon because of who she is

I like Kikyo, but I just like Inuyasha and Kagome better, because when I observed the characters in the Anime and manga, it seems like Kikyo was a lot lebih mature than Inuyasha, she just seemed altogether older and I think Kagome and Inuyasha's personalities are better suited for one another. They just seem like they have lebih fun together.
But I don't hate Kikyo at all.

I didn't like her in the beginning, but once I heard the whole story I really started to like Kikyo and I still do. Exactly. I preach this all the time. I wish people could just Cinta the series and the amazing characters that add value to it.

I think Kikyo is misunderstood. She loved him when she was alive, but her Cinta for him when she is reincarnated seems to be something she knows is impossible. She is bound to him from the past, but I think she knows that she isn't really her old self and that the future with him is impossible. Like the rest of us, I think she knows Kagome is Inuyasha's inevitability.

i really like kikyo she is my kegemaran character......i just dont understand why others hate her i guess they just dont understand her atau they just dont TRY to understand her.... back then i hated her because i thought she has getting in the way of Inuyasha and kagome but as i grew older i watched again and now i understood her and the pain she went through ... i think that she is amazing cool beautiful wise and so many lebih i really wish that people wont hate her so much instead try to understand her and maybe then they will understand that without kikyo is "NO KAGOME and NO STORY" and if there is a story i bet it will be boring..................

....No, seriously. Most Kikyo haters are die-hard InuKag peminat-peminat who can't stand the fact that Kikyo was InuYasha's first love. There was also that little episode when she tried do drag InuYasha to hell. *shrug*

I myself am a Kikyo fan, so I can't really say. This (what was listed) was what I saw most prominently among Kikyo haters.

I'm going to be completely honest I hate Kikyo so much. I know people Cinta her and think that she is a wonderful and amazing character. But I am very big on ships and I'm very big on couples in animes. So my self personally ship the two Kagome and Inuyasha and Kikyo ruins my ship sejak putting her self on all over Inuyasha. So that makes me increably mad.
