“Where did they come from?” I asked, a little hysterical.
“It must be the connection.” Kagome said, sitting down seterusnya to me. I looked at her. “When I first came here, I had the jewel in my side. Then, the jewel got shattered and pieces flew everywhere. Some of them must have transferred into your arm because anda are also a reincarnation of Kikyo.”
“That makes sense,” Miroku said. Kagome patched me up and we started off again. We had been traveling for about a week and there was still no sign of the sacred jewel. I had gotten to know everyone a lot better, especially InuYasha. I had also discovered that I did have the power to sense them. I practiced sensing them sejak having Kagome go into the woods with them, then I would come find her. I had gotten fairly good.
That night, Kagome and I were sitting sejak the edge of a river, looking at the stars.
“Kagome,” I said. She looked at me. “What is your opinion on InuYasha?’
“Well, he is rude, easily angered, selfish, and arrogant. Why?”
“I think I like him. anda know, LIKE him and I think he likes me back. I’m wondering if I should tell him.” I smiled at her. I had always been lebih into expressing my feelings rather than keeping them bottled up inside. That was one of the many way Kagome and I differed. Even though we looked the same and shared some of the same interests, our personalities were completely opposite. I was outgoing, not afraid to express my feelings, athletic, and once I set my mind to something I was not easily swayed. Kagome on the other hand was lebih introverted, kept her feelings to herself, lebih of a girly girl type, and could be talked out of and into things sometimes.
“Kyoko,” Kagome said, giggling. “I personally think anda should wait a little before anda tell InuYasha, but I think you’re right about him liking anda back. Have anda seen the way he looks at you!” We giggled all the way back to the camp.
The seterusnya morning, we set off again. After we had been walking awhile, we found a village that had been slaughtered.
“This is terrible,” I said, closing my eyes and turning my face away. I heard growling and opened my eyes. Wolves, with blood still dripping from their mouths, stalked towards us. InuYasha pulled out his sword.
“Come and get some,” he said. The Serigala attached and InuYasha fended them off with the Tetsusaiga. After he had killed about twenty of them, they retreated and started to howl in a group at the edge of the village.
“They’re calling their leader,” Miroku said. I ran over to the injured Serigala and tried my best to patch them up. I loved Haiwan and I couldn’t menanggung, bear to see them hurt like this. A strong wind started to blow from the north.
“There are jewel shards coming this way fast,” Kagome said. I could feel them too. Just then, a tornado came out of the woods. I could see that it wasn’t a real tornado just a demon running so I continued to patch up the injured wolves. I bent over one serigala, wolf with a cut on his leg. I spoke gentle, calming him when a man appeared in front of me. He wore bulu instead of clothing and had a breastplate on. He started down at me as I patched up the wolf.
“Which one of anda injured and killed my wolves?” He asked, looking at the rest of the group. He saw InuYasha with the Tetsusaiga covered in blood. I had finished with the last serigala, wolf and walked back over to the group, standing in front of Kagome. I was very protective of her and since I was the one with the martial arts training, I was the one who needed to protect her.
“So you’re the one who set these Serigala on this village.” InuYasha said, getting into his fighting stance.
“I am Koga, leader of the serigala, wolf demon tribe. anda aren’t even a full demon and yet anda have to nerve to kill my wolves. anda mutt.”
“Oh yeah wolf,” InuYasha yelled. “Bring it on.”
“Be careful InuYasha,” I said. “He has three jewel shards. One in each leg and one in his right arm.”
“Thanks for the tip.” InuYasha charged at Koga and the fight began.
