NO. Kal Penn is absolutely fine. He didn't want to leave the show. It was a creative decision, when the writers **SPOILER** killed his character.

In the tunjuk they had him not tunjuk up for work one day, and then they busted into his apartment & he had shot himself in the right temple & the tried to give him CPR but he was already dead atau as 13 put it "...He's cold..." The only other person there was Foreman. In real life, Kal Penn quit the tunjuk to go and work for Senetor Barrak Obama. Kal Penn's new job as my dad has put it "Sucks." lolz, all I know for sure about his new salary is that it's no where near as much as he used to make.

He got a job at the White House and he couldn't just leave House so in the tunjuk he shot himself.

Here is the story:

Kal Penn (the actor) was offered a job at the White House to work with the Obama administration.
So, Kal Penn asked the producers of 'House MD' if he could leave the show.
In order to let Kal leave the show, the writers decided to kill off Kal Penn's character Dr Lawrence Kutner.

So, in short, Kal Penn got a new job and left the show.

He wanted to work at the White House. It's not like he got fired atau anything. =]]
