Kris (Wu Yi Fan) releases new song \'There Is a Place\'

Previously, we reported that Kris was releasing a song on his birthday and this song may actually be part of the OST for his upcoming film, \'Somewhere Only We Know,\' for which he wrote the lyrics!

Somewhere Only We Know," is very calming and soothing.  As promised, it was dropped on his birthday and is a beautiful present for fans, indeed.

So happy that Kris surprised me with this song. He showed me something different from what I thought about his singing while he was in EXO. I hope he does well.

all of the exo fans who are upset with him, hey! everything happens for a reason, u might not agree with his point of view, but then may be this is what is the best for him in the long run! (this is coming from an ELF and a Cassie, so i know what im talking about!)

I was soooooooo surprised when I heard it!!! I rly wasn\'t expecting much, but it exceeded ALL my expectations! It is incredibly beautiful! <3 <3 <3

Its nice song but if he sang it live it would be so different.....

IN MY OPINION, i guess he was made as a rapper of the group because, aside from the fact that he\'s the only person who can speak in 4 different languages, he\'s the only one who can speak English fluently and when it comes to rap most of the time, if not always, as we all know it, majority of the rap are in English [correct me if i\'m wrong though :)]

and i think its because of the different aura he has we only knew him better during showtime where we all saw his funny side of a character...

No, he was made a rapper, because he couldn\'t sing well. BUT that\'s because SM didn\'t give him a chance to practice his vocals, look what he\'s doing now on his free feet. He still isn\'t the best singer, but I see he made some improvement since his Tiny Times OST. :)

Ah, love it.. love ittttt. I didn\'t know how much he is talented. 

While SM is doing everything to get their stocks back up, Kris is here, singing his heart out with his really long hidden talent. SM lost two amazing artists.  If SM let him sing and act BEFORE he left EXO, everything should be different. But Kim Fcking Youngmin stays on his...... Show them how you do it Li Jia Heng!!!

Leaving SM might\'ve been the right thing to broaden his career, but I don\'t think it\'s right to leave without saying a word when you think about how he didn\'t say a word to his team. And let\'s be real here, if it wasn\'t because of the fame he got being a member of no. 1 idolgroup, he wouldn\'t have been popular debuting in China.

Luhan left too, but WITH saying goodbye, and he got a better start than Yifan. Luhan got a postiver reaction than Yifan. Because honestly, leaving your job without saying a word is seems more like backstabbing and very rude. Yifan should\'ve at least talked about it, and then file a lawsuit if they didn\'t listen.

Don\'t take it to heart though. I just criticized his past actions. I like what he is doing now. :) His song is good.

@daisy6j Uh Yifan\'s lawyer said that Yifan tried several times to reason with SM but they didn\'t listen to him. They were the ones who were being arrogant and dismissive. And no, Luhan didn\'t get a "better" start than Yifan, definitely not in China. You\'ll see once their movies come out.
