What were your first impressions of Kuroshitsuji when anda first watched it?

My first impressions were: this is an interesting anime.... I'd better watch some more... then I eventually got hooked to it.

There are not many Anime that i can say that i have loved from the VERY beginning, but yeah Black butler was one of them! The intruiging characters, the mix up of racial backgrounds, and best of all.....the mysterious London setting. London has always been an obsession of mine. The creepy legends and folk lore.....the mysterious vanishings and murders....not to mention that whole Laberynth of tunnels underneath the city. Another thing that hooked me off the bat is the realistic plot lines with a fantastical twist. I saw my sister watching Kuroshitsuji when it was on Netflix, and I asked "What is this?" She said. "SHH!! THIS IS A GOOD PART" This was when I just started watching anime. I sat down and watched the part when Ciel pulled off his eyepatch and berkata "Kill these guys, Sebastian!" And when Sebastian replied with "Yes, My Lord".
