Q: What is anda exact feelings towards Light Yagami?

I pretty much agree with the asker, only I'd like to add "hypocritical" to the list. His logic makes no sense whatsoever. "I'm going to rid the world of evil sejak becoming a serial killer"?? Really Light? And I swear, if I ever hear the term "god of the new world" ever again it'll be too soon.

He's a spoiled brat and I honestly have never hated the villain of a series lebih in my life! I only wish 1 could've lived to see him get taken down!

I think he's just lost. I mean, anda have a notebook that could kill EVERY criminal in the world, making it a better place. What else is he gonna do but abuse that power? I know, and anda do too, that he handles it better than anyone else would!!!!!

It depends on which Light anda are referring to. There is a huge difference between Light when he has ownership of the Death Note and Light when he doesn't. Ryuk berkata himself that those who possess the Death Note are cursed and unable to experience true happiness. Even if Light had succeeded in creating his miraculous "new world," he would still be bored and unfulfilled once this "new world" became the norm for humanity. To me, the Death Note is a parallel to the ring in Lord of the Rings. The power it gives to a person overtakes who they truly are and slowly drives that person a point of insanity.

With that being said, Light without the Death Note is an ideal citizen. He is smart, handsome, and socially eloquent. Without the Death Note, I honestly believe Light would be a good person and lead a promising life. When Light gave up ownership of his Death Note the first time, we were able to see how kind hearted Light was naturally without the Death Note.

That's why the ending of Death Note is so haunting in a way. When Light is running away after realizing he had been defeated, he starts having flashbacks and remembers a time when he had never found the notebook, and then remembers the hari he found it. In other words, he wonders how his life would be had he never found the Death Note, and I think he realized that he was cursed.

Basically, I think Light is a complex character that shows how power can corrupt even the best people.

Don't shoot me, but I like Light. He had good intentions, but how he did I believe was wrong. I think the Death Note corrupted his way of thinking, his way of doing things and therefore he killed people thinking it was justice.
I hate that he and 1 died in the end, but I can't change it. Yes, I'm a peminat of 1 and Light, I like them both. :3

I don't really hate him because he was just trying to make the world a better place, BUT I Hate him because he started killing the innocent and then, eventually, he forced Rem into a situation where she had to kill 1 atau let Misa die.

I don't really hate Light. I prefer 1 a lot more, but I think he's a really good character.

He was a killer, yes... but he was doing it to make the world a better place. Depending on how anda look at it, anda might even say that HE was in the right. I liked him at first. He started with a good idea- rid the world of all the bad people. But then he let the power go to his head and he got needlessly cruel and no longer cared if the people who he killed were innocent atau not.
I really don't know... ._. In general, I like him... but I don't like some stuff he does.

At the VERY beginning of Death Note, my feelings towards Light were mixed. At first I agreed with him that someone needed to change the world, but after I learned his methods, I began disliking him. People say that Kira was actualy the bad one.
Here is what I began to think of Light:
A) He is over-confident.
B) He looks like a six-year old in a suit.
C) He thinks hes cool, bragging how woman are lining up to meet him.
D) As 1 kindly pointed out, he had a very twisted sence of justice.
E) After meeting Misa Amane, he used her, which is degrating woman everywhere. (I dont understand how anyone could like him after that)
F)He had a rather flat, conceeded personality.

I do admit, after he Lost memory of the Death Note, he seemed slightly lebih likable. HOWEVER; after he killed L, I couldnt see any good in him. Here's something I have to say about his methods:
(Killing Killers)- First off, thats ridiculous! Ridding murders with murder. Second, what if those people have issues atau something and they could have been helped! Justice is not getting rid of criminals, but making the criminals see what they are doing is wrong. Light was not briniginng justice! He was destroying it at its very base.
(Slowly killing of theives)- Theives steal for a reason. Its either steal, atau let themselves atau their families starve to death. Granted some steal for lazieness problems, but what about the people that steal because thats all they can do?
All in all, Lights methods are just... stupid.

(spoilers) I believe "love to hate" is the right term. I kinda like Light; he's handsome and he fulfills his job as a villain well, but, of course, he's a mass murderer and worse than that, is responsible for L's death! So I hate him, too! (If that makes any sense.)
Death Note is a dangerous tunjuk and I do believe should only be watched sejak the mature. I have seen posters on Fanpop where peminat-peminat praise Light, and it disturbs me. Sure, it's good to see would-be rapists and murderers get what's coming to them, but would someone pure and beautiful kill all those innocent FBI agents and do it with a smile? And what about those in prison who may have been in the process of reforming? They didn't deserve Light's pen stroke. If Light is to be liked at all, it's in his role as villain and how he contributes to the plot. But to be loved as a hero, no way!

One thing that i cant ignore was the fact that Light himself became that bad guy he wanted to ride the world of. I like the fact that he was caring about the world and that he payed his soul for the sake of that world. but a Death Note was not the perfect weapon for that. If he had became a police officer and worked with L, then he would take a better step to that world he wanted, and that was obviously too the best choice. But instead he taked the chance a littke earlier when he finded the Death Note in such a young age. His thinking is pretty.logic, but his metods was obviously not righterous. I really got angry at him for killing L, i didnt hate him for that, but i didnt really like the way he turned out from a innocent schoolboy to a crazy murderer. His sense of justice was pretty twisted and he did a lot of rude thing,s, but all was for the sake of the world. If he just was a little less hotheaded, and didnt thinking of becoming a god, then he would sucess probably. I admit that, he won. But 1 was still the best, even Light himself acknowledged 1 as a good opponent, and Ryuktoo. But he was a good characther, perfect to fighting L. I dont blame him for anytging, he did his job as the bad guy who won L.

So, in short. I like him.

At the start I really liked the character, but now, since I've watched lebih I think I've started to dislike him a bit more. I just think its the way with all characters. The show, whatever happen, starts to lose veiws, to make it better, they change someone so it makes, in this matter, the tunjuk have lebih tricks and loop holes

Light Yagami and Kira are two different things. Light is a person, Kira is an idea. Everyone is talking about what the Death Note turned Light into. When Light Lost his memory, he was completely different, he wasn't thinking of manipulating people, and he considered 1 as a friend. I liked Light at that part of the anime/manga. Although, when he was Kira, he was a bit annoying and childish.

Well Light is my favourite person out of death note (dont hate me! XD) I just Cinta his thinking and how he can think ahead and can change his way of thinking, I mean i remember watching my boxset and seeing the EP where he kissed misa and screaming then throwing a bantal at the TV >.< So yeah i dont mind him

I know he's supposed to be the bad guy but I really can relate to him. He brilliant he's bored! He represents the kind of people who can do anything to achieve their dreams. I also commend the fact the fact that he had ginormous dreams like becoming the God of the new world. I find him very intriguing. He is not the typical hero atau anti-hero for that matter. Light is a tragic figure. Before the beginning, he had everything going for him, and was otherwise, psychologically, just another moderately, naturally flawed genius. Then he has the misfortune to be the one to pick up the Death Note, and he becomes cursed. He starts on the whirlpool to Hell. People like to say that he had "good intentions" but he says early on, from the beginning, when he realized what he can do with the Death Note, that his ultimate goal is to be the God of a new world, in which he is judge, jury, and executioner, and the world bows to him. His arrogance and conceit, his need to be #1, are brought to negative effect, to the point that he would kill innocents to see his plan come to fruition, to the point that he has to reluctantly be willing to kill off his loved ones to keep his scheme alive and get away with it. Whether he always had the seed of a cold hati, tengah-tengah in him, atau whether his humanity was completely eaten sejak the curse of the Death Note, is unclear. Ultimately, after thousands are mercilessly killed, his life is ruined, all that horror and killing for nothing, and he doesn't even get to live the good life he was destined for, before Ryuk.

I feel that at first Light was right, those people who where harassing that girl if they hadn't died, that woman would've and I enjoyed watching him go from anda know a genius to just someone going nuts. Light was right in away ridding the world of bad people some who where just roaming around still free, the whole reason Misa fell in Cinta with Light was the fact he killed the man who murdered her parents and was going to walk free! However while all that seemed justifiable to me and even when he killed the FBI I cheered him on cause they where trying to capture him this was also like "who wouldn't?". But then when he killed that FBI's fiance that was where I realised he was gone. Light the smart boy with a extreme way of right and wrong went wayy too far. I'm not a peminat of Light atau 1 atau either I just watched for pure story content. Like a Kain and Abel story atau in the bible that story of moses atau even macbeth. However yes this is where I was thrown for a loop it was evident he was going to kill her. However the wicked smile, the desperation, luring her into a false sense of security, the confession and that innocent soalan : would anda like to speak to my father? And when she says "I have something to do" that's when he went from extreme to sociopath.

Light is beautiful. I couldn't stand it when he had Lost memory of the Death Note, I knew he had a plan but watching him work with Ryuzaki made my hati, tengah-tengah shrivel up. When he touched the notebook again and I saw that gleam in his eye, my hard started beating so hard. Yes, he's crazy, but that's why he's beautiful.

I honestly think he is a douche bag. I was self conflicted on how he treated criminals, until he started killing cops, just because they suspected him. and I think the worst thing about him is how he has used the girls that are literally in Cinta with him

I hate him. He took pleasure in killing Naomi, an innocent woman - that was when I started to hate him. He's a psychopath (and not a nice one like Rico the penguin). Not to mention he messed with women's feelings, killed loads of people (including his own father) without batting an eye, killed off 1 even though they had a rather emotional moment... does he have no heart? He's also really sly, which is a quality I am not at all fond of. Even if he wasn't a murderer, I still wouldn't like him. Jerk.
