So first of all let me just say that I'm not trying to offend or upset anyone, so please, PLEASE! do not take this the wrong way. I'm just curious how the Stelena fans on this spot feel after reading some rather... disappointing comments.

This isn't the first time I've seen nasty comments directed towards Nina/Ian &/or Paul/Torrey. Along with seeing offensive [in MY opinion] manips like link [Again, it's just MY opinion that this is offensive so please do not be upset with me over this. I just find it really tacky & disrespectful to make WEDDING MANIPULATIONS of Paul & Nina when Paul is fucking MARRIED to a lovely women & Nina is in a serious relationship with Ian.]

But anyways... I've seen comments saying shit like:

"Nina is such a dumb bitch for dating Ian, she should be with Paul! Her and Paul make such a better couple."

"Ewwww why is he [Paul] with Torrey when she is so ugly and Nina is so gorgeous?"

"I hate Nian they are such a horrible couple. Delena sucks and so do they. You know the only reason people even like them together is cause of Delena!"

And many more similar comments that i find to be very rude and uncalled for. It's one thing to love Paul & Nina as friends, even to believe that they would make a great couple IF they weren't both romantically involved with other people. People that ALL work together btw... But to trash their significant others because you can't cope with the fact that Stelena aren't together in real life? NO, that's just not right.


So back to my reason for making this pick! I'm just curious to see what YOU GUYS think of Nina/Ian & Paul/Torrey!

Oh! And something i want to add - I get if you don't ship Nian, but i can't fathom how anyone could HATE them, especially after reading this quote from Nina in a recent Seventeen Magazine interview:

“The first time I was on the cover of Seventeen, the cover line said 'Nina: Why she wouldn’t date any of her co-stars.' And then cut to two years later…it's funny that I said that, but you know what? It was honestly what I believed at the time. I didn’t want to be dating one of my costars—my goal on the show was to be professional. But sometimes you can’t help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long—which I did for a really, really long time.”

^I agree with you, people shouldn't insult Nina, Ian, Torrey or Paul because of who they are dating or not. I personally like Nina/Ian & I don't really care about Paul/Torrey but I would never want either them to split just to see Nina&Paul together even if I love Stelena. I think that if someone doesn't like one of these couples, it's their right but they shouldn't bash it or calling names.

Well... I like Nina&Ian, but I'm so sick of it when everyone's like "oh, isn't Delena wonderful?" when I mention Nian. Delena is not Nian. And Paul&Torrey are ok. If Paul is happy, I'm happy. But I love Nina&Paul the most <33

I totally understand that being frustrating Ray. Hell, I'm a Delena fan and it annoys me that some DE fans can't seem to separate Delena from Nian!

Here's my opinion. :P

Paul & Torrey
If I have to be honest, I absolutely HATED this relationship at first (this was before they were married) for 1 simple reason: Paul was my favorite actor, Torrey my least. 
When I first found out that they were together, my exact words were: "OMG, you've got to be kidding me!" LOL But then I realized I can't hate Torrey for the roles she has played: nanny Carrie (don't even get me started on this woman :P), Melissa Hastings,.. Seeing her in interviews, what she's like in real life, just proves what an amazing actress she is because she's so different from her characters. Okay, and if I'm being entirely honest, I kinda envy her: she's got to kiss the 2 men I adore the most & she's beyond stunning! Come on! LMFAO ;P But now I've come in peace with her/them. They love each other, they are happy and that's all I want my my dearest Paul. :))

Ian & Nina
I'm one of those girls who likes it when her favorite couples become RL couples, ya know, the fantasy coming reality. :p that's why I love Paul & Nina so much. I can't help it. :s So because I despise Delena so much, I just can't love Nian. BUT, I DON'T hate them. Because I also realize that fiction is fiction. Like Paul & Torrey, Nina & Ian seem very happy & in love and I wish every one that feeling! In my eyes, the only reason for truly hating a certain relationship is when one half of the couple is treating the other half badly or disrespectful. 

As far as the insulting comments concerns: SOME PEOPLE ARE TRUELY  MORONS! Seriously, I wonder what the IQ of those persons are. ;) But those idiots are not only Stelena/Pina fans. Both sides are to blame for this madness. And I'm not saying this directly to you Holly, because I love you ;)), but sometimes I feel like DE fans are always insulting us, SE fans, for bashing while they're doing the same. We're already in the huge minority so I don't understand why they have the need to keep doing that. I refuse to go on the TVD spot simply because I feel like I'm the only SE fan in the world there and to me that spot feels like the Delena 2.0 spot. And some of the comments on fanpop can seriously hurt. I know it shouldn't, but it does. And I'm sure I'm not the only TVD fan who feels like this. 

One of my favorite things about this family is that no matter what are preferences are, we all can get along very well and we don't take part in this absurdity of insulting other people: actors, fans & couples, just to make themselves feel better.

Oh no, trust me i know there are loads of idiot Delena fans! And they piss me off so bad because you guys know how much i strive for everyone to respect each other. I'm not sure if you follow me on Tumblr, but I've tried making posts begging both Delena & Stelena fans to stop with all the hate and negativity & just respect each other and the right to disagree... but some people just can't be mature unfortunately.

And some of the comments on fanpop can seriously hurt. I know it shouldn't, but it does. And I'm sure I'm not the only TVD fan who feels like this.

This makes me so sad =[ Not that ANYONE deserves to be made to feel bad by someones comments, but especially not someone as sweet & kind as you.

Exactly ♥ It's one of the many reasons i love being a part of this family! I mean just take me as a prime example - the majority of the family either hates Brucas, or doesn't ship them at all, yet look at how accepting everyone is of me as well as my love for them =]

I love Stelena and will forever ship them but they are a fictional couple so I don't mind that they are in relationships with different people. Paul&Torrey are adorable and so are Nina&Ian. I love Paul&Nina as friends. It's a cute friendship :)

And the insulting and offensive comments are seriously just stupid. Some people can't separate real life from fiction and that's sad...
