Major Help please!!!!!!

Look I have a crush on this guy and I wanted to know if he likes me too because he smiles to me when I see him.And when I see him my hati, tengah-tengah starts to beat and I could hear my heartbeat.And I don't wanted to ask him because my uncle's been watching my movements because he's pretty unscure about me.What should I do?I am so nervous to talk to him.Because if the girls started talking to the boys first that is so uncool and lame.I really need an Nasihat right now.Can u guys tell me what to do?

P.S He's new in town and my uncle gives him a place to stay,he's a tahun older than me and he is working at my uncle's house because he has short on money and we're not related.
