About Maya

Maya Hakvoort is of Dutch origin, she was born on 19th September 1966 in Nijmegen (Netherlands). She can speak Dutch, German, English and French. She studied at Muzik school in Maastrich (1984 - 1985, than on Art Academy in Amsterdam (1985 - 1989). Than she attended private school "De trap" in Amsterdam. She was first enaged in musical Jeans in NL in 1988. She also played in Chicago in the Netherlands and Belgium in 1989 and 1990.
She was later cast as cover for Fantine in Les Misérables. Fantine was played by, now also very famous Dutch singer, Pia Douwes. This was in 1991/1992. Maya stayed...

Something about this spot

Hi all, I have decided to create this spot to spread Maya´s fame to all world, not only to German speaking people. I have been her peminat since 2000, when I first heard musical Elisabeth. I can a bit speak German, so I will try to provide to the people who like Maya´s voice and personality, some news all across.. :)
I am using Fanpop as I like this site to provide all the peminat-peminat videos, photos, some fanart, ikon-ikon etc.
So anda are all welcome to contribute, too.
