Why do people say Michael Jackson is an actor?

Honestly I hear people calling him The King of Pop atau The King.
His career was in music..was the Muzik that he definitely changed..but I think he's a great actor too!!
He acted not only in 3 atau 4 movies, but in so many of his video (Thriller, Ghosts, Bad, Remember the time...)
He was the first musician that made a short movie as a videoclip.

Back to your question.. he's Berlakon a lot in his video but I don't call him an actor but the greatest and the most complete musician that world has ever seen!!!

I've never heard people callinh him an actor. But I've heard of many famous people that don't even act and they are called actors sejak Berlakon in a 'few movies'. I don't know...

wow ur taking this to personal. michael should have done alot lebih Filem but Singing his his thing he didn't take a step further. like eddie murphy he is an actor he can sing but he doesn't choose to make an album and stuff. but mj did act so i guess he was?...idk

Well obviously he's a singer, he's only been in a few Filem & had Berlakon parts in films other than Moonwalker/Ghosts, so I understand why people call him an actor, cuz he's had Berlakon parts... But I personally don't see anything wrong with considering him an actor, he did it but we all know that wasn't his #1 job...

Well..I think some people also call him an actor,because he really was a great actor and he had his own creations even during All of thoes great Filem that he done :)♥ well I mostly consider him as a singer but,he was a great actor too :)♥ and he really should have played in lebih Filem but..he didn't pushed himself so further,and I respect him and I respect his desizions :).....♥

MJ was an a amazing actor to me

In a way I think he was an actor, just look at all his Muzik videos. In fact once he came out with Thriller no one labelled his Muzik video a Muzik video, they labelled them short films. He was no Brando but he was quite a good actor from what I have seen from his Muzik video with dialogue like Thriller and Bad. He was a performer and somewhat of a genius who could master many things after a few goes so I have no doubt in my mind that he was an actor and a good one at that.
