What is pride? It is the feeling that a person atau being has that makes berkata person believe he atau she is greater than others. So many have been warning against having such behavior, but sometimes, it can't be helped. It can be forgiven, yes. However, the sense of pride someone has can grow into such a big ordeal-like power that it can and will become destructive.
Let me bring up a good example of pride: Arachne, the mythical human-spider hybrid. This Greek weaver thought she was the best there was at her craft that she berkata she's better at it than even Athena, Olympian goddess of wisdom and arts'n'crafts. One day, the goddess challenged Arachne to a weaving duel. The objective? Make the best tapestry, whereupon Zeus, King of Olympus, would decide whose tapestry was the best. In the end, he chose Athena's tapestry, which devastated Arachne, because the loser of the duel must never weave again. Athena, out of pity, let the mortal weave again, but not as a human, but rather as the human-spider hybrid, after being touched sejak the tip of her golden spear.
The above was seen as the forgivable sense of pride, but, unfortunately, there is also the unforgivable sense of pride, the one that can cause devastation and/or destruction. Here is a lebih than perfect example of such: the Rebellious War in Heaven led sejak Lucifer, now called Satan. Everyone in the three Faiths of Abraham know what happened. After God had made everything and blessed it, making it all good and resting from it (Gen. 1:1 - 2:4), He decided to create humanity in His Image, and gave them His utmost blessing. Lucifer saw what was going on, and he did not like it because he believed that God's Bidadari will serve them humbly. Lucifer wanted to make sure such a thing would never happen. So he decided to plot against God and try to usurp ultimate power (Isa. 14:13-14). He gathered 1/3 of the heavenly host at that time and waged a treacherous war, but he failed. Lucifer was beaten sejak the Archangel, Michael. Every last traitor was cast out of Heaven, never to return again. (Rev. 12:7-9)
Indeed, we can learn from such mistakes that we hear and read about, such as the two above. But even though this is on a club about multi-colored horses, that doesn't mean there isn't someone who is quite full of theirselves. A good example is our kegemaran pelangi, rainbow haired athlete: pelangi, rainbow Dash. Many times has she tried to prove that she was the better competitor at such competitions, such as the Iron kuda, kuda kecil Competition and the Running of the Leaves, in which she competed (and cheated) against Applejack. Such an example of this pride turned into a feud during the Running that they forgot about the race and fought, causing them both to lose the race. After being shown their errors sejak Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia, pelangi, rainbow Dash and applejack made it up to each other and run together.
This is one type of forgivable pride that could be easy to make up, but there are many lebih examples she made. I hope this helps anda peeps out somewhat.
