The battle between former Friends and teammates had been brutal. It had taken every fiber, every ounce of their chakra to finally make this match come to an the end of this battle one person stood tall and that victor was none other than Naruto Uzumaki.

He had finally fulfilled his promise to his long time crush, the girl he had loved since he was a genin, Sakura was sure she would be overwhelmed with joy once the both of them got back. In the back of his mind he was happy that he had finally fulfilled that promise.

Naruto knew he could finally let go of his crush for Sakura as he knew she would probably go after Sasuke once didn't care, it was his promise to her, no matter how much it hurt him, he was always glad to see Sakura smile and that brought a smile to his face.

Upon returning to Konoha with Sasuke, he looked up to see Sakura running towards the both of them smiling and cry as the last thing he remembered before he passed out from his injuries was the smile she gave him.

His injuries were far greater than he had imagined and he spend the seterusnya few weeks in the hospital recovering from his wounds, thanks in part to the fox he recovered faster than he was expected too. It was then he decided to go see how Sasuke was doing. He opened the door to see Sakura hugging Sasuke. At this point he could only give a sad smile as he turned around and left them too be. He knew this would happen, it was just like the time when he brought Tsunade back and she was able to bring Sasuke out of his coma.

He let a lone tear escape his eyes as he walked out of the hospital knowing Sasuke would give Sakura the happiness she deserved. Little did Naruto know that Sakura had seen him open the door and when she saw him turn around and leave she felt her hati, tengah-tengah start to break into tiny pieces.

Tears started to form in her eyes after seeing him like that, she needed to go after him and explain herself. She looked at Sasuke who in turn just nodded telling her to go after Naruto because he needed her at this moment.

As she turned to leave Sasuke cracked a smile knowing that Sakura had finally made the right decision, her hati, tengah-tengah belonged to Naruto and no one else. Naruto had escaped to the bahagian, atas of Hokage Monument where he balled his eyes out, letting the feeling of never being able to have Sakura sink in.

As he was crying he didn't notice a pair of arms wrapped around him to embrace him in a hug, but when he looked up he was shocked to see who it was. The girl of his dreams, the one he had been chasing as a genin was right here with him on bahagian, atas of Hokage Monument, letting a few tears escape her eyes too.

He went to say something, to ask her why she was here, but she put a finger up to his lips silencing him before he could. Instead she let her actions drive her as she full on presented him with a Ciuman on his lips. He was rather shocked sejak her actions, but yet he didn't stop her as he joined in on the Ciuman mending their lips together like they were one.

They held their Ciuman for as long as they could hold their breath, but eventually they needed air as they into each others eyes, Naruto could tell why she had done what she did. It was clearly written in her jaded eyes. It was love, one of the most pure and simple things that any person could have and cherish. It was definitely something Naruto and Sakura would cherish for the rest of their lives.
