I personally liked the 2nd one better as the statues are in action all time and also there is also new charcthers including Ameila Earheart(Enchanted bintang Amy Adams), Kahmunrah/The Thinker(Hank Azaria),Nanpolen(Alain Chabet). What makes this sequel work is that we see new charcthers,theres lebih action goin on with the wax charcther's and also Larry Daley has a thing for Ameila Earheart who helps Larry get the ancient tablet from Kahmunrah (Hilarious !!!!!!) and it was alot funnier.Also Amy Adams definetly stoled this film.
