The Vampire Diaries co-stars perpecahan, berpecah up back in May 2013, after three years of dating, and joked about the break-up during the January 8 awards show.
Nina talked to E! News after the PCAs and explained why they decided to accept the trophy in that particular fashion. She berkata she just wanted to have an honest moment — since it’s not like peminat-peminat wouldn’t realize the two winners of the chemistry award were a former couple. Do anda just ignore it?
"I was trying to figure out, like what do anda say in that kind of situation?" Nina told E!. "We were like, well, we're cool, we're Friends and costars. He's a great person, I'm a great person. I mean, I think I'm pretty awesome. [She laughs.] So it doesn't need to be awkward. and I feel like everyone expected it to be so awkward. We made fun of ourselves and just had fun."
These two could never be awkward. They are too perfect together — on screen and off — whether that includes romance atau not. Nina only ever has kind things to say about Ian, and vice versa.
"If you're with someone for that long, there's obviously the qualities in them that anda enjoy and that doesn't change just because you're not together anymore,” Nina told E! “I have an enormous amount of respect and Cinta for [Ian] and everyone. That doesn't change, it shouldn't, otherwise why were anda with them?"
Aww! Truth. People do change in relationships sometimes, and lose what they respected and loved about each other, but that’s clearly not the case with Ian and Nina. And for the record, we have an enormous amount of Cinta and respect for Mr. Smolderhotter too!
Do anda still hold out hope that these two will rekindle their romance someday, atau are anda OK with just knowing they truly Cinta each other as friends?
