She shouldn't be in it at all...we only see her picking up Zelena, naming her, and walking away with her. We don't know anything about their relationship or what she was like as a mother. It wouldn't be judged fairly. She seemed nice but what if something happened that turned her mean, and she abused Zelena? We don't know.

You judge based on what we know. What if her father was kind and loving but changed when his wife died? We cant be sure. So we go off of what we know.

Well what we know is that she adopted Zelena, nothing else.

We know she found an abandoned baby and choose to take her in and raise her as her own when she could have just dropped her off at an orphanage. We know that she had an instant connection with the child and defended her with out a second thought. We know that Zel loved her. We know that she intended to make that baby " the happiest in all of oz". Thats as much information as we have on many of the parents such as Lady T and the Woodsman.

From what I have seen so far she seems like a kind loving woman.

She seemed nice enough.

We've not seen much of her but she seemed nice and loving:)
