did he die? because i wasn't sure i thought they he did i think they made it seem like he did in the flash back episode but just do confirm it is he dead?

not that i'm aware of and if he is i missed it. in the flashback episode i recall him retiring from coaching but i don't remember anything being said about him dying...maybe i should rewatch that episode lol
