Omgosh deffo brooke. I just LOVE her this season, she has matured so much! I can honestly say that during Seasons 1-4 i disliked her, but she made me LOVE her this season!

I agree with leytonfan4ever. But I think peyton's changed just as much. She was miserable in most of s1&2. Not to mention crabby, dependent, and self piteous. By s3, I started to see a change in her. Her pain made her stronger instead of depressed. By the end of the season, she was honest with Brooke about Lucas. She learned from the lies/secrets that ruined breyton's friendship in s1. By s4, Peyton had learned to be INdependent, carried herself well and learned from a lot of her past mistakes. She learned to be honest with the ppl she loved about the way she felt (told luke how she felt point blank in 408). There were no games. No lies. By s5, her maturity was remarkable. She was smart for both herself and lucas when she told luke they were not yet ready for marriage. Sure some of it was fear, but neither of them were ready. They were 19 and had barely began their careers yet...not to mention that she saw right through luke's proposal as an insecurity rather than a true readiness for a lifetime commitment. Yes peyton made mistakes in s5, but even after Luke chose lindsey, Peyton grieved and pushed on. There was a grace about her. She had class and was able to help ppl despite her problems (not to take away from what she did for people over the past 4 seasons, but it's refreshing to see her give even more in s5). She helped Mia, Brooke (with her mom), Haley with her music, and that teenage girl who lives in Peyton's old house. Heck she even tried to help lindsey with lucas cause she wanted them to be happy (especially luke). Peyton's grown a whole lot. Despite luke royally screwing peyton in 5.07 & 5.17, Peyton still stood by her words and reaffirmed her love for him in the season finale. Despite luke's stupidity, peyton still remembers the man she fell in love with and knows Luke can still be that man. It's a whole new Peyton. When luke screwed up with nikki in s1, Peyton walked away with no intent on trying again with him. I know lucas has lost a lot of fans this season, but Peyton hasn't given up on him. That can be seen as desperate or delusional, but these days I see it as inspiring. Loyal. Luke's lucky to have her in his life. So are the other characters.

This season is the reason why she's my fav character. That didn't sway my decision in this poll though :)

Well, deff Brooke!! She has matured and is a wonderfull woman now.. Nathan too, he is so sweet and a real good guy!!
Agree with you abs07 too, Peyton has changed too, and she got more strong and independent, she always has been, but way more now..

I feel like Brooke has changes the most. Nathan has also changed but i feel like his heart ahs always been in the right place. I feel like he has always been a good guy, but his parents(Dan) made him to the guy he was. but Brooke did not have a great heart like she has now, an she has really changed thrue this years.

but mostly brooke. from party girl to almost mom :]

s1 - BITCH(at first)- then messed up (with b/l/p)
s2 - sweet and confused(friends with benifits)
s3 - still the old brooke but she was less confused (she knew what she wanted to do - clothes/bros)
s4- she was kind of a bitch - but i loved her! haha
s5 - mature and has a plan (wants a baby) - and i love her even more <33

both cuz they wer both party animals and sluts but thoughtout the seasons they are M A T U R E and i didnt like brooke and nate in the 1st season but now i lurv them

Brooke changed for the WAY better but to a degree we always knew she had the ability to be a good friend like when she went round to Peyton's everyday after P's mum died - even though Brooke checked these friend skills at the door alot but hey....Nathan has become a completely different person and is really lovely to everyone now =]

nathan and brooke changed so much! they have become very diffrent people. they others have changed to but not as much

Brooke changed from season 1 but I don't see that big of changes that have continuesly grown throughout every season.
From what I can see, she was always a good friend (from the end of s1 on) and the only thing that has really changed is she's not a total shopaholic money waster, and she's not a slut.
Don't get me wrong- I love Brooke. I just see way more changes in Nathan.
He's grown as a person each season, learning more about life and love(as he says in 3x18) and I think that Being a husband and a father has really made him a softie.
