bye bye S2 ;)

I really dont get why people dislike season 2, ok it was bad for Leyton but it was really good when it comes to the characters and friendships...

^ It's not about Leyton, though. Yes, it sucks that they didn't have many scenes... but that's not the main reason why some of us dislike it. Because as minimal as LP were... the few scenes that they did have were still very good.

But the season itself was just boring, and moved so slow. The introduction of Anna, and Felix was pointless. The Keith/Jules storyline was again... pointless, slow, and dumb. Too much screentime was wasted on them, and also Karen/Andy. Haley being away on tour just... kind of messed up the whole tone of the show. Jake/Peyton/Nikki stuff was repetitive. The storyline between Lucas & Dan was a drag. The whole season itself was just lame, and far from entertaining.

So while some may blame the dislike of season 2 on LP fans... I personally think it's the opposite. From what I've seen, the only people who DO like season 2 are BL fans, and only like it because of BL. Because let's face it, that's pretty much the ONLY thing that season 2 had going for it. Besides maybe Jeyton. And IMO, a season needs more than just focus on one couple (no matter what couple it is) to be considered good.

The Season of Suck.

Most of it was really painful to watch. The whole Nathan-getting-into-the-NBA-or-not storyline was so dragged, not to mention pointless because since season 1 it has been pretty obvious he'd make it eventually. :D
Oh, and couples that used to be really great (like Naley or even Mouth & Millie who were ADORABLE in season 5!) became extremely boring. They had so much screentime without even having a real storyline or an interesting one at that! It seemed as if there was zero interaction between the characters! Everyone was just sitting at home pouting. And the only interaction they had was with their partners most of the time (Haley - Nathan, Brooke - Julian, Millie - Mouth, Luke - Peyton, etc.).
Not a fan of season 6. /:
