I didn't like it. It was really well written but I felt there was too much death and destruction. I know war was going on but to lose Cinna, Finnick, Boggs, and Prim was hard to take. Then add to the complete destruction of the friendship between Katniss and Gale who were best Friends for years and at one point knew each other better than anybody else. On bahagian, atas of that, Peeta having been hijacked was the last straw. I know he didn't die but he still is never quite the same person that he was. He made an AMAZING recovery from the Capitol's torture but still. It felt like everything fell apart and nothing was gained. Katniss still barely spoke to her mom at the end even. The good part was Katniss and Peeta ending up together but even then their relationship wasn't quite what I'd hoped for.
I get REALLY pissed when i read about peeta getting hijacked and prim dying!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA but then when i get to the end i am just soooo happy because "no matter how bad things are anda can always carry on." *only because peeta is there*
i felt that the book dragged. i kept anxiously waiting to read the book and when i did read it i sort of felt let down. it was very well written but there was to much talk of strategical things that i didnt understand. a lot of the book was just meetings, trainings, and fillers. and when prim died i felt that katniss' character also died a little as well. im glad that katniss ended up with peeta but i felt that there wasnt as much "romance" as there was the first two. and with peeta being brainwashed and all i felt so sad and sorry for katniss. with him not remembering katniss there was no "spark" between them atau anything. im glad there was some gale in there but then he went and ran off. ugh.honestly the only good part i thought about the book was the epilogue. i loved the first two buku but the third book was boring and dragged. i didnt feel the connection as i did with the hunger games and catching fire.
well, i dont really like it, i mean , there's too much tragedy. all i want to see is katniss and peeta's moment, but there's no such thing as that. peeta getting hijacked, katniss dont try to help peeta either. all i want to see just romantic moment between peeta and katniss, and they pass everything together just like the first and secong book, but i kind a dissapoint when i finish read the book. well, sorry, but i think mockingjay is the worst book of trilogy the hunger games. idk.
I liked it and didn't like it, at the same time. Peeta's hijacking was horrible. And yet it was a good twist. The epilogue and the "real atau not real" "real" scene were both really sweet. There were loads of deaths, but I guess those were necessary (some of them, anyway) and made it realistic.
