The seterusnya hari Skipper went fishing again, and Private was alone. Private took the diary and tried to take off from where he had left off.
Dear Diary,
It is the hari before the wedding.
No that wasn't it. He finally reached it.
Dear Diary,
.......................... we decided to name him Private.
Private dropped the book in shock. Then it hit him: his mother's name was Vanessa!
P: "No, it can't be!"
Just then Alex rushed up to the cave.
A: "Private, I need to talk to you!"
P: "Alex, I have lebih important things to be concerned about, now!"
A: "Wow, I guess I'm not that important to anda sorry."
P: "No, please, Alex, wait!"
A: "Sorry to interupt!"
She raced off with tears in her sparkling eyes. Private felt terrible, and trembled with guilt.

Skipper came utama with a grin on his face ready to tunjuk Private his exclusive catch. The mood changed in an instant when he found Private sitting on the ground crying. Skipper bent down, and tried to hug Private, but the weeping penguin pushed him away.
S: "Private what's wrong?!"
P: "Why? Why did anda ..."
S: "Why did I what?"
P: "Lie to me,"
Private shoved the book into Skipper's flippers. Skipper didn't have to look at it to know what he was talking about.
S: "Private, I'm so sorry! I didn't want anda to hate me!"
P: "Why did anda leave us?"
S: "I wasn't ready. It was the best that I left."
P: "There had to be something that made anda think that!"
Skipper sighed.
S: "When I met your mother for the first time, I promised myself I'd Cinta her lebih than anything nothing would be lebih important. She was beautiful Then, I got wrapped up too much in my miltary work. She always told me that. I never realized lebih until ...."
Private thought of Alex and how he felt when he met her, but how he pushed her away.
P: "Until what?"
S: "She met your father."
P: "I have to go!"
S: "Private, wait!"
P: "I can't believe you!"

Private sprinted out of the cave, and headed to Alex's cave. Kendal answered when Private reachd the entrance.
P: "Hello, sir,"
Ke: "Alex isn't here right now she's with Damion, and the other kids."

Private finally reached the others.
P: "Alex!"
A: "Private! What are anda doing?"
D: "Stay away, you've done enough!"
P: "Please, forgive me, Alex!"
Alex waddled up to Private.
P: "Please forgive me,"
A: "When I went over to your cave I was going to tell anda I broke up with Damion, and I needed some one to talk to."
D: "What were anda goin' ask me?"
A: "Nevermind, what Private berkata got to me, and I realized what I really wanted, you, Private. I mean, anda can't be mad at some one for one thing like that forever. anda have to forgive."
Alex leaned in and Private kissed her, but their romance was interrupted sejak a forceful shove to the gut sejak Damion. It sent Private flying through the air.
A: "Private! Damion, leave him alone!"
Alex tugged on Damion's flipper, but he shook her off.
D: "No, this fluffy little baby is gonna pay for stealin' my girl!"
Private was on the ground scooting backwards. Just then, an booming voice spoke aloud.
?: "Leave him alone, atau pay the conceciunces!"
D: "Y-you d-don't scare m-me!"
Skipper stepped forward.
S: "Oh, really? Because anda look it."
D: "I'll just go now."
Damion made his way utama as a coward like before.
Private clug to Skipper.
S: "I'm sorry!"
P: "No, I'm sorry! I can't be mad at anda forever for something anda feel this bad for, and only did it for me and my mum. anda were wrong though."
S: "About what?"
P: "You do make a good dad, Skipper."
S: "Thank you,"
A: "I'm so glad he didn't hurt you, Private!"
S: "I'll leave anda two alone."
A: "Thank you,"
P: "Are y-you free on Friday?"
A: "For anda I am."

Private soon got back to the cave where Skipper was waiting for him with dinner. After, the two were finished eating, they got ready for bed.
P: "I Cinta you, dad."
S: "I Cinta you, too, son. I'll tell anda lebih about your mom and I tomorrow, if you'd like."
P: "Okay!"
That night, Private fell asleep soundly in Skipper's protection.
