Every one stood in shock from what they had just seen. Celeste still seemed deep in thought. But the thing on her mind was wiped away, when Private wrapped his fin around her waist and pulled her toward him. She smiled, as her hati, tengah-tengah raced. His saphire eyes gleamed at her golden ones. It seemed hard to breathe.
"All right, let's get back to set up our shelter." Skipper said, clearing his throat at the awkward feeling for the rest of his boys.
"Right," Celeste answered obediently.
All the rest of the afternoon, Celeste acted peculiar. Something was upsetting her. Private was competely bewildered sejak her mood. How and why could she be bothered sejak anything? They had defeated yet another enemy and no one was injured. It didn't add up.
"Is there something else she's been hiding from me?" Private thought to himself. Suspicion seethed inside him, as he pondered. Then, guilt followed and disrupted his conscience and train of thought.
The sunny hari drastically changed as the evening came. Clouds masscaraded the sun above. The splashing of the waves rushing in turned violent. The breeze picked up, and thrashed around the palm trees.
For the first time in hours, Celeste spoke up. "Hey, guys, I'm just going to go for a walk." She said, slipping aside a leave.
"I'll come with you." Private declared.
"Private, I.... kind of need to think alone." She reluctantly sighed.
"Why? Are anda feeling okay? This isn't because of... anda know?" Private presumed she meant it was her powers kicking in.
"Private, it's something anda wouldn't understand, okay? Trust me." And with that she was gone. Private stood and stared at the leaves that swung back and forth from the force of Celsste's speed, when she had just left.
The conused and agitated penguin was about to follow. A flipper reached for his. Private turned. Behind him were his friends. Rico's fin was the one on his.
"Maybe, she just needs her space, compadre." Skipper berkata lightly.
"Besides, it can't be easy for her to be around..... normal penguins all day." Kowalski added.
"Normal?! She is normal! She's a penguin isn't she?!" Private snapped.
"Dat not normal," Rico grunted.
"None of anda understand what she's going through!" Private exclaimed.
"We realize that, Private. We just want to help." Kowalski tried to calm Private.
"Help?! Are anda kidding me? How is examining her helping...., Kowalski?" Private scolded the scientist.
"Now, Private-" Skipper began.
"Don't even say anything, Skippah! You're already making everything harder!" Private griped. He began shaking, as it felt like the pokok was spinning beneath him.
"We just want what's best, and now that might be staying away from her right now." Skipper reasoned.
"That's just what's best for you." Private scoffed, and jumped from the pokok branch to another.
Kowalski sighed, "should we go after him?"
"No, I don't think she's dangerous." Skipper answered. "Then, again we could chew him out for talking to us like that."
"True, but what if she's.... hunting?" Kowalski trembled.
"What do anda mean?" Skipper question. His attention was lured in now.
"I mean, what if Private comes in at a bad time, and.....?" Kowalski made himself lebih clear.
"Nom nom n-" Rico pretended to bite something.
"But would she do that to Private?" Skipper pondered.
"Hold on, what did Private mean when he berkata you're not making it any easier?" Kowalski asked. Skipper shifted uncomfortably.
It didn't take long for Private to find Celeste. She sat on a jagged rock. From the last high tide, it was drenched. Her mind was still racing, but this time he noticed a blackish blue color in her eyes. But that wasn't the only eye catching part. Tears filled them. They sparkled like stars against the color of her eyes.
"Celeste?!" Private jogged over to her. She turned her head away. He sat down onto a rock seterusnya to her. "What's wrong?"
"No," she sobbed gently. "I can't tell you."
"Yes anda can." Private looked sincerely into her eyes.
"Okay," she sighed. Her daze went out to the water. Even through the gloomy weather it still looked crisp and pure. It was easy to think of it as endless. "If anda could see the future, what do anda think it would be like?"
Private smiled tenderly. He slid his fin onto hers. She turned her head to look at him. "It would be anda and me together with.... I don't know...... a few eggs." He took a breath. "And none of that would change. No matter how far into the future anda go. Well maybe except for the eggs.
"Whenever I imagine the future, I see... you. Standing under the sunset in my arms. We're happy-without a single care."
Celeste began weeping even more. "But I can't give anda that."
"I don't care, if we don't have chicks, Celeste! I just want to be your boyfriend...." He got closer. "And then husband."
"You really don't get it, Private! I just can't explain this to you."
"Please, I promise, I'll try to understand."
"Look, Private, I saw the future!" She cried. Private's eyes widened.
"That's fantastic! What happens?" He exclaimed.
"Are my ablities all anda think about?!" She growled.
"What do anda mean? Is something wrong?"
"Geeh, Mr. Sensitive, I don't know. Let's see: I'm crying. I don't know, what do anda think?"
"Sorry, I didn't know." Private muttered.
"Not every curse can be a blessing, Private!" She scolded and merpati into the water.
