“Chiron, she’s really powerful. Carrying her, I could sense it. And how did she attract so many monsters?”
“I don’t know Percy. But one thing is quite clear. She can’t handle to much. We must try to water down the truth.”
I was laying on a katil in another room, but I heard their conversation very vividly. Annabeth walked in the room. She had been wearing a blue baju with jeans but was now in an orange baju that said, “CAMP HALF BLOOD” It took me a minit to read, and I remembered it was because I had dyslexia.
“How’s the little celebrity?” she asked.
It took me a bit before I realized she was talking to me.
“Um, better. I guess anda could say. Where am I?” I questioned.
“Camp Half-blood. The only selamat, peti deposit keselamatan haven for demigods. Just like you.”
“Demigods? And half meaning what?”
“Ever heard Greek mythology and all that? Well, it’s all alive today.” She went on to explain I was the daughter of a Greek god atau goddess. She asked me to tell her my life story and I tried my best to explain it all and she nodded, even at the strange parts, she seemed to understand. I heard someone clear their throat in the doorway and I saw Percy standing in there with a slight smile. Annabeth’s cheeks colored a light red and she stood up from sitting at the edge of my bed. Percy sighed, “I heard all that.”
Annabeth nodded, “She has to be, I mean...the nectar…the story.”
Percy grinned, “I’m not disagreeing. I was about to agree.”
Annabeth replied, “Well, what does Chiron think?”
Percy: “He thinks she could be a Big Three.”
Annabeth: “Maybe anda have a…”
Percy: “Maybe.”
They both looked at me at the same time. I pulled the covers up higher noticing I’d been watching them like a Tenis match.
Percy smiled, “So, how’d anda like to get a tour of Camp Half Blood?”
Annabeth smirked, “I thought anda didn’t think she was well enough to get up yet?”
He ignored her and helped me out of bed, “I think you’ll like it a lot.”
I nodded uneasily, “Okay…But, whose Chiron?”
Annabeth froze, “Um, our teacher!”
Percy grinned, “Yeah…that’s it. Let’s go Annabeth. We’ll give her the grand tour.”
I was confused sejak them but I went anyway. Percy was right. I liked it a lot. I’d never really felt like I had Friends before but Annabeth, Percy and I got along pretty well. And camp half blood was amazing. I kept hearing a Percy and Annabeth mention something about being claimed at the camp fire...I wondered what they could possibly mean....
