Who do anda consider to be the villains in Gone with the wind ?

indeed, i think it's the type of book anda see no true villain, atau at the contrary many minor villains. Scarlett is manipulative, selfish and superficial, but she's got so many qualities too... It's hard to consider her as a villain

I agree I can't consider her a villain, just an anti-hero (The principal protagonist of a film who lacks the attributes atau characteristics of a typical hero, but with whom the audience identifies. The character is often confused atau conflicted with ambiguous morals, atau character defects and eccentricities, and lacks courage, honesty, atau grace. The anti-hero can be tough yet sympathetic, atau display vulnerable and weak traits. Specifically, the anti-hero often functions outside the mainstream and challenges it.) Well, i think even is scarlett don't like melanie, she don't consider her as a villainess, atau even someone who stand in front of her . because she know melanie isn't aware about scarlett's feelings. She think she's silly and too kind. But we can consider ashley as a "villain" too. He refuse to listen to his hati, tengah-tengah in scarlett's point of view, in rhett's one, he's a man totally unable to decide what he want ...

yes, i agree , scarlett is lebih an anti-heroine. She's one of my kegemaran period drama character. All her flaws make her so human, in a way we can understand her, even if we maybe won't act like her.
