any emulator users?

So i've been playing pokemon api, kebakaran red on an emulator and I've been trying to trade in addition to save but the saving thing i can somewhat get around but to trade anda need to save so. Has anyone been able to trade on they'res

I use Visual boy and so far nothing I've tried on YouTube works and when i was told i might not have a complete rom i didn't know where to find a complete one so far I've been getting my roms from DopeROMs and i was wondering if anyone that's gotten a complete rom could possibly give me a link atau something i'd really like to be able to trade my pokemon

Anyone that can give me an answer i'll give a prop atau two and anyone that gives me an answer that allows me to do it will get 10 props
