New travelling companions for Ash?

I was thinking about generation 7. What do anda think could be Ash's new travelling companions? Who would anda like to see return?
Here are my thoughts:

The girl companion: The most I would like to see Misty return. If there's a new girl I would like to see a brave, tough and cheerful girl. She could be a new trainer who specializes in Fighting, Dark atau Rock types.

The boy companion: I would like to see a mysterious, experienced trainer. He could be travelling companion and rival to Ash in the same time.

I think if it was canon only, i'd like to see Brock as a male character.
I think that it should be multiple groups, say Ash's group, then pan to a different one, atau maybe even a third.
