Akshay Dogra who essayed the pivotal role of Aakash Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is back on the small screen space. He will soon enter Zee TV’s Punar Vivah (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd) and is all set to play an important role.
Our sumber informs us that he essays the role of Sooraj, a village-bred guy and his entry will open up a new track filled with intrigue. He will be a suspicious character, who will help in locating Ansh who had earlier been kidnapped sejak Prashant (Vineet Raina). With Prashant being dead, Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kratika Sengar) do not know the whereabouts of Ansh and are desperately looking for him when Sooraj makes his grand entry.
We tried calling Akshay Dogra but could not get through to him. We will soon update anda with his quote on the same.
We also sent a text message to producer Sumeet Mittal, but got no revert till the time we filed the story.

The new entry Ishita will be played sejak actress Heena Parmar who was last seen in Life OK’s Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. She will be the girl Yash’s dad has chosen for him to get married once again.

First it was shown that Akash was seen trying to kill Yash because of jealousy and his need to make a place for himself in the family. Later Radha (Dolly Minhas) was seen saving Yash and applying medicine which shocks Arti.
However after incessant efforts, Arti succeeds in making Radha open up to her. She tells her that Yash is her son and also that Akash and Yash were swapped in the past in order to take revenge from Suraj Pratap.
This revelation jolts Arti and she now is confused about how she should inform Yash about the same.
